Steamrip Slow Download Reddit

So I tried to download Skyrim from the steam thats free (you know what website), I got 33% (5gb) in, which took me 2 DAYS, and then the download failed. So I download free download manager, which improved the speed (from 50 kb/s to like 100 kb/s) but when I do an internet speed check my download speed is 170 mb/s. Why is it so slow? How do I improve the speed?

Anyone else getting insanely low download speeds from SteamRIP as of recent? Even using various download managers doesn't help much. My friend also says it has been slower recently so I'm just trying to see if anyone here noticed or have that problem.

I've been studying the piracy guide pastebin on this subreddit and i've got everything I need, yet I can't seem to get anything off steamRIP to download. If it matters, I'm trying to get Elden Ring to try it out (I do NOT wanna pay full price for a game I'm probably just gonna play for a couple hours, learned that the hard way with Hogwarts Legacy, lolol.) Is there any information missing from the pastebin on how to do this kind of thing? It just doesn't seem to be working for me. :[

I've been downloading only pre-installed games from steamrip, mostly direct downloads. When I tried a repack (tekken8) my pc got slow and delayed so I uninstalled and runned my antivirus and it came back to normal. Never got any trouble with steamrip but I see people talking about how bad is pre-installed games and even that steamrip not always was in the megathread, so, I'm doing a research. Have you experienced any trouble with steamrip or even pre-installed games? (only sources in the megathread please) Thanks in advance, would love to see your comments too

Saw that steamrip was on the megathread. I'm new to pirating, so i've come to understand that I don't need a vpn for ddls. From what i understand, I need a download manager like free download manager (which im going to use), and winrar? I just need some clarifications on the steps for downloading and launching the games i want.

Repacks are highly compressed games, designed for people with slow/limited internet bandwidth. Once you download them, you must install them on your computer which can take a long time due to file decompression. ff782bc1db
