Steam Download Won 39;t Resume

Hello. I was trying install the Eggcellent update on Steam and it got to 100%. But then it just says resume, but when i try to click it continues for a split second and then stop. I have tried almost everything. Reinstalling Ark, Restarting PC and verifying files. And afte ri verified files that also got stuck on 100% and it won't resume.

I restarted steam and it is online at all times, not sure what left to do. if I try to uninstall the game and then reinstall it then I will lose all mods I am subscribed to, I know this because it already happened once the past.

My game won't finish downloading for whatever reason on steam and is stuck on the Resume button when the download is 23.31GB of 23.31 GB. I reinstalled the game multiple times, verified game files, checked the drive for errors, firewall, run as admin etc. I'm stuck on disk write error

The only issue is putting the steam deck to sleep while X4 is on, and then resuming it, causes the FPS to tank and the sound to be messed up until I close and reopen the game. I could just close it completely every time I guess, but loading the game can take a while.

Hi there! I've been using my steam deck for a couple of months already and I've realised the quick resume function crashes the whole thing quite often (maybe 1 time every 5 or so) and it has become quite annoying since that means a lot of times I'm losing progress. Does anyone else experience this bug so often? Should I be concerned that maybe there is something wrong with the deck? I am running most games from a SanDisk 400gb sd card and my OS is on stable channel not beta.

It works really well, game plays excellently on Deck. The only issue is that whenever I go to sleep mode, the game can't reconnect when I resume. It'll get stuck on a darkened "reconnecting" screen, and I have to close the program and open bnet all over again to start the game.

This is a must have feature for me. I want as painless an experience as the nitnendo switch - you just hit the power button and it resumes your game (even days later) in a second from where you left off. Never fails. No bugs.

Tried googling around but I've only found similar issues on windows. Can't find anyone with the same issue on the steam deck. Have rebooted the device, don't want to delete and reinstall the game because it took about 5 hours for the deck to make space for the game (no idea why) then several more hours to download.

Edit 2: so it's saying the game is missing downloaded files. Looking it up apparently steam is removing capitalization from one of the files. Tried finding the files in question but was unable to do so.

I always Get this type of Bugs and Could not even download and Play games on Steam! Origin And Uplay works fine in this regard but not in the case of the steam!

Steam Does not even cares about this bugs! They simply make this a damn post and not taking a serious issue on this!! Everyone waste their energy, time and money on downloading the games repeatedly for several times with no use of downloading!!!! :P :P :P

It doesn't work with steam games I guess..! How to do that so? If any websites that offers steam rip as a torrent, then sugest me pleaser and I also wanna know the procedure on how to reinforce that!!!! ::D

Copy all the files in this folder to the game folder in your common folder inside the steamapps directory. If a folder has

not been created for the game yet you will need to make one and hope or find out the correct name for the folder. In this case

it was simply PlanetSide 2.

Well actually I have a doubt!

If I have downloaded for about 50-60% and I suddenly it restarts to Download. So , Doing the same procedure , will make it download again from the beginning? Coz, (when steam pre allocates the files and starts to begin the download, it actually tries to redownload the files but not from the position where it was stopped earlier.)It won't help I think sO!!! :(

It might looks like it starts from beginning, but its not. pause and resume download and you'll see the real percentage of download.

Remember, Create the folder with exact name in common folder(if not already created, Google it. eg, "sleeping dogs" steam folder).

While re-installing, it'll say "discovering existing files". If not, you did something wrong, mostly wrong folder name.

For some reason resume on suspend has issues. Not only does my keyboard not work to type my password in again. If I force restart of X via shortcut commands the screen starts tearing up even tho tearfree is enabled.

The problem is related to failing to "Save and Exit" when exiting a scenario. When you load ARMA 3 and resume a single player scenario, it deletes the "continue.Arma3Save" in your "Saved" folder (while you are playing the scenario). Normally, when you exit the scenario, you would click the "Save and Exit" button and it recreates the continue.Arma3Save file. This file is just a save game file, like all your other save game files. If this file is missing, then you cannot resume your Scenario even though the save games are all still there.
