sTE2C 2021

MATERIALS AND TECHNOLOGIES FOR SOLAR & THERMAL TO ELECTRIC ENERGY CONVERSION

Iglesias, July 2021

The sTE2C Workshop addresses to the fast growing thermoelectrics, thermionics, thermo-photovoltaics scientific and industrial communities as well as to the more established photovoltaics and concentrated-photovoltaics ones. The workshop aims to especially stimulate novel hybrid concepts resulting from combinations and/or evolutions of the mentioned technologies, with a specific focus on the increasing amount of applications in industrial energy recovery, solar energy conversion, aerospace propulsion and power generation.

The Workshop will be organized by the Institute of Structure of Matter (ISM, Roma) of the National Research Council (Italy) and the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry of the University of Genova.

The Workshop will be held in Iglesias, a historical city in the south-western corner of Sardinia (Italy), rich in cultural attractions, centuries-old traditions and natural beauties punctuating the territory.

The Workshop will last three full days (July 2021) with seven sessions including plenary speakers, invited speakers, oral and poster communications.
