2021 TBS Live Stream 24hrs Global Chanting Vigil
Sacramento True Buddha Temple Accomplished the Mission Auspiciously
Watching our RG HH Living Buddha Liansheng worked hard days and nights in 2020 to reduce the negative karma and to eliminate the ill fortune of sentient beings, as disciples of TBS, we also wish that all sentient beings will be free from current sufferings at the earliest time and stay away from the natural disasters. During these unusual times, our temple tried to accommodate the prayer requests made by our members as well as worked with TB Foundation to coordinate other virtual prayer events. We all hope that the sentient beings will return to their comfortable routines and the world will uphold the commitment of peace and harmony soon.
We are grateful that the TB Foundation proposed this Global Chanting Vigil in December 2020 and hosted the event on the New Year’s day of 2021 for the benefits of all sentient beings. The 24 hours live stream Global Chanting Vigil started on 1/1/2021 at 8pm (Seattle Local Time). The opening ceremony was conducted personally by the Grandmaster. With the guidance of our abbess Master Lianchi and Master Liantsai, this temple also took part in the chanting vigil on 1/2/2020 (Saturday) from 2 to 3pm (Sacramento local time). Through live streaming, we guided the disciples of True Buddha School from all over the world chanting the “White Padmakumara Heart Mantra” and praying for world peace and harmony.
Hereby, we would like to express our gratefulness to our temple volunteers and members who attended the chanting vigil, the backstage helpers, the members who streamed live and took part in chanting, and everyone who finished the chanting mission to light-up a candle online. Together we hope the consequences of common karma will end soon overtime and the world shall see the light again.
