Hi, I’m Srdjan Stavrić (think "surgeon" but softer). I'm a theoretical physicist at the Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences in Belgrade. My academic trajectory includes a PhD from the University of Belgrade in 2019, a scenic detour through Italy for a couple of postdocs, and a return to my home base in 2024.
My research revolves around advanced materials. Essentially, I take the rules of condensed matter physics, throw them into 21st-century supercomputers, and see what wonders come out. I’m particularly fascinated by magnets—the flatter the better! If you’re curious about my work or want to collaborate, feel free to drop me a line!
