Status Saver Hub Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 16, 2026
Effective Date: July 16, 2026
Welcome to Status Saver Hub (hereinafter referred to as the “App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
We value your privacy and the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App may access, collect, use, store, or share when you use Status Saver Hub, as well as how you can manage your information and related permissions.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the App. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. About the App
Status Saver Hub is a utility app that provides WhatsApp status saving, photo and video management, sticker creation, sticker pack integration, recommended video browsing, and video download management features.
The main features of the App may include:
1. Viewing and saving photo and video statuses that users have already viewed in WhatsApp;
2. Browsing and managing photo statuses and video statuses separately;
3. Selecting photos from the device gallery to create personalized stickers;
4. Creating, editing, and managing sticker packs;
5. Adding compatible sticker packs to WhatsApp;
6. Browsing recommended videos provided within the App;
7. Downloading videos that users are authorized or permitted to save.
The App currently does not provide account registration or login features. You do not need to provide your name, phone number, account password, or other login credentials to use the core features.
2. Information We May Access or Process
2.1 WhatsApp Status Files
When you use the status-saving feature, the App may access photo and video statuses that you have already viewed in WhatsApp and that have been cached on your device.
Depending on your Android version, the App may access these files through the system file picker, a WhatsApp status folder authorized by you, or photo and video access permissions.
The App only accesses files or folders that you actively authorize. It does not read your WhatsApp chat history, private messages, contacts, call records, WhatsApp login credentials, or account password.
Status files are mainly browsed, previewed, saved, and managed locally on your device. Unless you actively use a sharing feature, we do not upload your status files to our servers.
2.2 Gallery Photos and Videos
When you create stickers, select a cover image, save photos, or manage videos, the App may request access to the photos and videos you select.
On supported devices, the App may use the Android system photo picker to access only the photos or videos you actively select rather than your entire media library.
Photos selected for sticker creation are generally cropped, edited, converted, and saved locally on your device. We do not upload these photos to our servers unless a specific feature clearly informs you that online processing is required and obtains your consent.
2.3 Sticker and Sticker Pack Data
When you create or manage stickers, the App may store the following information locally on your device:
• Original photos selected by you
• Cropped or edited sticker files
• Sticker pack names and cover images
• The number and order of stickers within a sticker pack
• Creation dates, modification dates, and other local management information
When you choose to add a sticker pack to WhatsApp, the App may transfer the selected sticker pack to WhatsApp through Android system interfaces or methods compatible with WhatsApp.
This process may require communication between the App and WhatsApp. However, the App does not obtain your WhatsApp chat history, contact information, or account password through this process.
2.4 Video Browsing and Download Information
When you browse recommended videos or use the video download feature, the App may process:
• Videos you click or select
• Video links, video identifiers, or content addresses
• Video titles, cover images, duration, file format, and file size
• Download status, download progress, and download time
• Download failure or error information
• Favorites, playback records, or management records
To provide video recommendations, retrieve video information, or complete download requests, relevant video links, request information, IP addresses, network status, and device information may be transmitted to content providers, download service interfaces, server hosting providers, or other necessary third-party services.
Please download only videos that you have the right to use, have received permission to save, or that the content provider has expressly made available for download. We are not responsible for unauthorized saving, use, or distribution of third-party content by users.
2.5 Device and Technical Information
To maintain the normal operation of the App, analyze errors, improve performance, and protect security, we or our third-party service providers may automatically collect the following technical information:
• Device brand, model, and device type
• Android operating system version
• Language, time zone, and country or region settings
• Screen size and device performance information
• IP address and network connection status
• App launches, page visits, and feature usage information
• Crash logs, error logs, and performance diagnostic information
This information is generally used for App operation, troubleshooting, statistical analysis, security protection, and feature improvement. It is not used to directly identify your real-world identity.
2.6 Advertising Information
The App may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising service providers.
Advertising service providers may process the following information in accordance with their own privacy policies:
• Android Advertising ID
• App instance identifier
• IP address
• Device model and operating system version
• Language and approximate country or region
• Ad impressions, clicks, and interaction information
• App usage and ad frequency information
• Network status and diagnostic information
2.7 Analytics and Crash Information
The App may use third-party analytics, performance monitoring, or crash reporting services to understand how features are used, identify errors, and improve stability.
These services may process device information, App interaction information, crash logs, IP addresses, App instance identifiers, and performance data.
2.8 User Feedback and Contact Information
When you actively contact us by email or other means, we may receive:
• Your email address
• Your name or preferred form of address, if voluntarily provided
• Feedback and descriptions of issues
• Screenshots, logs, or attachments that you voluntarily submit
• Information related to customer support communications
This information is used only to process your request, respond to your feedback, resolve technical issues, or comply with legal obligations.
Please do not include sensitive personal information that is unrelated to your request.
3. How We Use Information
We may use the information described above for the following purposes:
1. To provide WhatsApp status browsing and saving features;
2. To access and manage photos, videos, and files that you actively authorize;
3. To create, edit, save, and manage stickers and sticker packs;
4. To add sticker packs selected by you to WhatsApp;
5. To provide video recommendations, playback, download, and management features;
6. To save download progress and display download notifications;
7. To improve App speed, stability, and compatibility;
8. To analyze crashes, errors, and performance issues;
9. To prevent fraud, misuse, attacks, and other security risks;
10. To display, measure, and optimize advertising;
11. To respond to user feedback and support requests;
12. To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and platform policies.
We do not use photos, videos, or WhatsApp statuses accessed through file permissions for purposes unrelated to the features requested by you.
4. App Permissions
The App may request the following permissions or system authorizations depending on the features you use:
4.1 Photo and Video Access
This permission is used to select photos for sticker creation, access videos, save status content, and manage media files selected by you.
On supported Android versions, we will use the system photo picker whenever possible so that you can grant access only to selected photos or videos.
4.2 Folder or File Access
This authorization is used to access a WhatsApp status folder selected by you or to save and manage downloaded files.
When the App obtains folder authorization through the Android system file picker, it can only access the folder or directory scope selected and authorized by you.
4.3 Notification Permission
This permission is used to display video download progress, download completion, download failure, or other notifications related to actions initiated by you.
Refusing notification permission generally does not affect status browsing or sticker creation, but you may not receive timely download progress or completion notifications.
4.4 Network Access
Network access is used to load recommended videos, retrieve video information, initiate downloads, display advertisements, send necessary network requests, and obtain App service content.
4.5 Foreground Service Permission
When you actively start a download task, the App may use a foreground service to maintain the download and display its status in the notification panel.
The foreground service is used only when required for the relevant task and will stop after the task is completed or canceled.
4.6 Interaction With Other Apps
When you choose to add sticker packs to WhatsApp, open files, play content, or share content, the App may use system sharing, file-opening methods, or inter-app interfaces to send your selected content to the target app.
The target app’s processing of the information is governed by its own privacy policy.
The App’s core features generally do not require access to your text messages, call records, microphone, precise location, or contacts. If future features require additional sensitive permissions, we will explain their specific purpose before use and obtain authorization as required by applicable law.
You may revoke granted permissions at any time through your device settings. After revoking a permission, features that depend on that permission may no longer function properly.
5. Local Storage and File Processing
WhatsApp statuses, downloaded videos, created stickers, sticker packs, and related edited files are generally stored locally on your device.
You may delete this content through the deletion features provided in the App or through your device’s file manager.
If files are saved to public photo, video, or download folders on your device, they may remain on your device even after you uninstall the App and may need to be deleted manually.
Uninstalling the App generally removes settings, cached files, and some local data stored in the App-specific directory. However, it does not automatically delete media files already saved to public directories.
When you actively share content with WhatsApp, social platforms, or other apps, the relevant content will be processed by the third-party app you select and will be governed by that third party’s privacy policy.
6. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not disclose your personal information to other companies or individuals without a valid reason.
We may share necessary information in the following circumstances:
6.1 Service Providers
To provide advertising, analytics, crash reporting, content delivery, server hosting, video recommendations, or download services, we may share necessary information with relevant third-party service providers.
These service providers may process information only to the extent necessary to provide the relevant services and must protect the information in accordance with their contractual obligations and privacy policies.
6.2 Actions Initiated by You
When you actively choose to share a status, video, or sticker, or add a sticker pack to WhatsApp, we will send the relevant content to the app or service selected by you according to your instructions.
6.3 Legal and Security Requirements
We may disclose relevant information where required by applicable laws or regulations, court orders, lawful government requests, or where necessary to protect the legitimate rights and interests of users, the public, or us.
7. Third-Party Services
The App may integrate third-party advertising, analytics, crash monitoring, content recommendation, download interface, cloud hosting, or app distribution services.
8. Data Retention
We retain relevant data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
8.1 Local Files
Status files, videos, stickers, and sticker pack files are generally retained on your device until you delete them, clear App data, or uninstall the App.
Files stored in public media directories may remain on your device after the App is uninstalled.
8.2 Download and Activity Records
Local download records, favorite records, and App settings are retained until you clear or delete the relevant content or uninstall the App.
8.3 Crash and Analytics Data
Data processed by third-party analytics, advertising, or crash reporting services is retained according to the retention periods and privacy policies of the relevant service providers.
8.4 User Support Information
Feedback and contact information that you voluntarily send to us may be retained for as long as necessary to resolve your request, maintain records, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations. Once the retention purpose has been fulfilled, we will delete or anonymize the relevant information.
9. Data Deletion and Your Rights
You can manage your information in the following ways:
1. Delete saved statuses, videos, stickers, and download records within the App;
2. Clear the App cache and App data through your device settings;
3. Delete media files stored in public directories through your device’s file manager;
4. Revoke photo, video, file, or notification permissions through your device settings;
5. Uninstall the App;
6. Contact us through the email address provided in this Privacy Policy to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent, or other applicable privacy rights.
Because the App currently does not provide account features, most user-created content and usage records are stored locally on your device. We cannot remotely access or delete files that exist only on your device. You must delete such files through the App or your device system.
If we or our servers store identifiable information related to you, you may submit a deletion request using the contact email address. We will process your request within a reasonable period, although information that must be retained under applicable laws may continue to be stored for the required period.
10. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect relevant information, including:
• Minimizing unnecessary data collection
• Limiting the scope of file access
• Using system permissions and file selection mechanisms
• Applying reasonable security measures to network transmission
• Limiting access by personnel and service providers
• Monitoring abnormal activity, abuse, and security risks
• Regularly reviewing third-party SDKs and permission usage
However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage can guarantee absolute security. We cannot guarantee that information will never be lost, misused, accessed without authorization, or disclosed under all circumstances.
Please protect your device and exercise caution when sharing statuses, photos, videos, or stickers that contain private information.
11. Children’s Privacy
Status Saver Hub is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If a higher minimum age of digital consent applies in your country or region, the age required by local law will apply.
If we become aware that we have unintentionally collected personal information from a child, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as possible. Parents or legal guardians who believe that a child has provided personal information to us may contact us using the contact details in this Privacy Policy.
12. International Data Transfers
Advertising, analytics, server hosting, or content service providers used by the App may process information outside your country or region.
Data protection laws may differ between countries and regions. We will take reasonable measures in accordance with applicable law to require service providers to provide appropriate protection for relevant information.
13. Third-Party Platforms and Content
Status Saver Hub is an independently developed third-party application and is not affiliated with, associated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or officially connected with WhatsApp, WhatsApp LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any of their affiliated companies.
The WhatsApp name, trademarks, and related brand assets belong to their respective owners.
Third-party videos, websites, advertisements, or services displayed or linked within the App are not controlled by this Privacy Policy. The processing of information by third parties is governed by their own privacy policies and terms of service.
14. Updates to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy due to changes in features, SDK integrations, legal requirements, or platform policies.
After an update, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and may notify you through in-app notices, release notes, or other appropriate methods.
If an update involves material changes to how personal information is processed, we will provide a more prominent notice where required by applicable law and obtain your consent again where necessary.
We recommend that you review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about our latest information-processing practices.
