This is the page of the group of Thierry Mora and Aleksandra Walczak.
We are part of the "Statistical Physics and Inference for Biology" team within the Laboratoire de physique de l'ENS (LPENS) at the Ecole normale supérieure.
The group is partly supported by the Fondation Bettencourt Schueller. See details here.
The group is located at 24 rue Lhomond, Paris, France.
We have postdoc positions to work on the evolution between adaptive immunity and viruses as part of an ERC Synergy grant.
Please get in touch if interested.
Our group has been awarded an ERC Synergy Grant for the CoEvolve project,
Co-evolutionary dynamics of viral pathogens and human antibody response.
The project brings together four Principal Investigators: Aleksandra Walczak, who acts as the coordinating PI, Michael Desai (Harvard University), Florian Klein (Institute of Virology, University Hospital Cologne), and Michael Lässig (University of Cologne). Combining expertise in immunology, virology, statistical physics and evolutionary biology, CoEvolve aims to understand the co-evolutionary dynamics of viruses and the human immune system.
