Minwoo Kim holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Michigan State University, a M.S. (Statistics) from Seoul National University, and B.S. (Statistics) from Pusan National University. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at Pusan National University.
My research philosophy is simple: I am interested in everything that can be done with data. Although my earlier work has centered on Bayesian statistics, spatial statistics, and actuarial applications, I view these as stepping stones rather than boundaries. I always keep an open mind and pursue any direction where data can offer insight and impact.
