– 𝚅𝙴𝚁𝚂𝙴 𝙸𝙽𝙵𝙾:

Once a mortal human woman born of mortal human parents, she ends up pledging herself in service to Odin, becoming one of his many Valkyrie known as Sigyn (Victory Woman.) For centuries, Sigyn helps lead warriors killed in battle find their way to Valhalla, living up to her name, but it all changes when she ends up coming across and finding herself drawn to the Trickster, Loki – Odin’s friend. Spending her time getting to know him and appreciating his sense of humor – which is usually misunderstood by the other gods, the warrior maiden finds herself starting to fall for him.

However, a Valkyrie is not allowed to marry or fall in love because it is usually used as a means of punishment for disobedient Valkyries, resulting in them losing their position. This doesn’t stop her, resulting with Sigyn becoming one of the Asynja (female members of the Aesir.). Eventually, Sigyn and Loki marry each other and have two sons from their marriage; Vali & Narfi. With the threat of Ragnarok approaching, Sigyn’s nightly visions only grow stronger, warning her with images not so clear of things to come. However, when Loki is punished by the Aesir for what happened with Baldr, Sigyn quietly weeps for her family who has to pay the price; Vali being turned into a wolf and forced to tear his brother, Narvi, torn to shreds as the God’s use his entrails to bind her husband to a rock for eternity. Despite not being punished by the Aesir herself, Sigyn chooses to bring a bowl along with her and remain by Loki’s side for eternity, shielding him from the venom dripping from the snake’s mouth, holding off Ragnarok just a little longer….

Born and raised in Asgard, Sigyn is the only child to her parents, Halvor & Helga, who work as diplomat’s for the royal family. Halvor’s father once worked alongside Odin’s father, Bor, as Captain of the Royal Guard (the Einherjer.) Halvor didn’t want to follow in his father’s footsteps, becoming a diplomat for the royal family.

Helga was a farmers daughter and would help supply food and materials for everyone in Asgard. Because of this, she would often meet Halvor, of which both instantly felt a connection with each other. After spending time getting to know one another, they fell in love and married. Helga learned how to become a diplomat beside Halvor, helping him work for the royal family.

Not long after, they had Sigyn. Helga would teach her daughter Floriography and the uses of herbs with healing, sparking her desire to become a healer early on. However, her parents soon noticed at a young age that Sigyn had magical abilities – especially to receive prophetic visions of the future, sometimes waking up at night from dreams. They told Queen Frigga about it and she soon became a young disciple, learning magic from her alongside Prince Loki and becoming a childhood friend of the Prince’s of Asgard and Lady Sif.

Growing up, Sigyn was often the heart and voice of reason, acting like the perfect child. However, she could be rebellious and mischievous at times. With a knack for adventures, nature, and doing the right thing, Sigyn is sure to be there whenever someone needs her – even if she has to risk her own life to protect Asgard and its people. She is no warrior, but don’t underestimate her strength: Compassion is not weakness. Having become a proficient magic user, Sigyn finds her mark, first working as one of Queen Frigga’s Handmaiden’s before finally becoming a healer.

She ends up realizing she has fallen in love with her childhood best friend, Loki, and with the blessing of their parents, they eventually end up marrying each other. Now a Princess of Asgard, things are about to change in Sigyn’s life. But for better or for worse, one thing will remain constant – her undying loyalty for her home and her husband.

Chaos has befallen Asgard after the attack by the Dark Elves from Svartálfheim, led by Malekith. Queen Frigga and Prince Loki are the casualties from it, leading Sigyn to start doubting her purpose as healer when she couldn’t even save the lives of the ones she loves. So when Thor decides to return to Midgard, Sigyn follows suit, wanting to find a new purpose through her grief.

She ends up coming across the Ancient One, who has been waiting for her to arrive. From here, Sigyn becomes a student, learning of magics different from Asgard and finds a new place for herself in the universe, becoming a Master of the Mystic Arts and helping to defend from any and all attacks.

However, unknown to her, Loki still lives, having exiled Odin to Midgard and taken the throne of Asgard in disguise all the All-father himself. Their story isn’t over though, and there are more enemies to come – even with the feared ‘Ragnarok’.

Asgard has been destroyed and Odin is dead along with many other Asgardians lost in Ragnarok. The survivors have taken to the stars, trying to relocate and find a new home. 

However, Thanos arrives, and with him, more death as he is finally close to collecting all the Infinity Stones. Sigyn almost meets death at the Giants hands, but is saved by Loki, who is killed -- and this time he will not be returning again. 

Left as one of two survivors on the Statesman, Sigyn must silently endure through her grief and do whatever it takes to take down Thanos, even if it means joining her brother-in-law as an Avenger and trying to hold her head high as the Princess of New Asgard, staying strong for those who still need her.

Sigyn has been sent to the TVA (Time Variance Authority) and accused of committing a crime against the Sacred Timeline -- one of which was trying to go back in time and prevent Loki's death from happening instead of enduring her grief as she is fated to do in the Multiverse.

She is put on trial and found guilty, but manages to escape and ends up coming across different variants of herself and her husband, witnessing different paths her life could have taken before eventually reuniting with an alternate version of Loki who escaped the Avengers.

However, there are bigger things going on behind the scenes. There is a person at the end of time who has been pulling the strings. What happens when one decides to take their fate into their own hands? 

One thing will always be certain about Sigyn – she will protect Loki - even till the end of time. For all time. Always.

In Ancient Times, Loki was bound in a cave with snake venom dripping down upon him. Unable to free him herself, Sigyn, his wife, remained by his side, holding a bowl to catch the venom. However, the couple are greeted by the Archangel Gabriel, who helps to free Loki, becoming friends with the couple. Loki and Sigyn agree to help the angel go into “Witness Protection Program” by using Loki’s identity as his own.

Centuries later, Lucifer, Gabriel’s brother, is freed and begins the apocalypse, attacking most of the pantheon of gods, including Loki’s father, Odin. Loki hears of this and begins a plan of revenge against Gabriel, selling him away to the demon, Asmodeus. However, Sigyn still tries to remain a good friend to the archangel, knowing it isn’t his fault for what happened.

But when Gabriel manages to escape his captors, returning with a revenge plan of his own to kill Sigyn’s family, can the Norse Goddess of Loyalty and Compassion remain a friend to the archangel or will she be forced to pick a side and unite with her family?

Sigyn is a member of the Aesir who was born in Asgard. Despite her and her parents low rank, she is good friends with Thrúd Thorsdottir. While her friend would like to become a Valkyrie, Sigyn wants to learn the art of healing and magic, but keeps it hidden because of the warrior culture influenced by Odin's strict reign, instead trying to keep up a charade of working to become a Valkyrie.

Her life changes when she meets Atreus aka Loki who arrives in Asgard, taking a liking to him and his magical abilities. She acts as a voice of reason for him while also helping him with whatever he needs and becoming friends with him and Angrboda.

During the events of Ragnarok, her parents were killed in the destruction of Asgard, leaving her an orphan. She ends up taken in by Sif, rescued with the other remaining Asgardians, before leaving to find her own destiny, working to become a Healer and learn magic, staying by Atreus's side.
