BIOGRAPHY

Azrael is one of the many angel's created by God. After the first human's were banished from the Garden of Eden and Evil was released into the world, he was given the task of being the Angel of Death and taking the souls to the afterlife to be judged. His first soul -- or the First Death -- was Abel. That was also where Azrael was witnessed and seen for the first time by Aclima, something that left an impression with him for awhile.

Throughout the centuries, he has served as the fabled Grim Reaper and Angel of Death in humanity's legends, receiving his list of whoever's time is up from a mysterious higher up and retriving the souls of those who are supposed to pass away before sending them to where they recieve their judgements before arriving at their respect afterlifes. He is not in charge of the judgements, and doesn't know who is (thinking maybe it's God), but he's not really sure. He just does his job and tries to maintain balance in the natural order of things.

As humankind fills the Earth more and more throughout the centuries, his job becomes a bit...overwhleming. In order to keep up with all the names and souls, Azrael creates the R.E.A.P.E.R/the Reaper's organization, selecting certain angels with the qualifications fit for the job and putting them through trials in order to prove if they have what it takes. He doesn't take his job lightly. Aclima becomes one of these angels, and his own personal assistant.
