PERSONALITY

Adam appears very egotistical and unsympathetic, also displaying traits of extreme narcissism and chauvinism. However, it is all an act to hide his true feelings underneath. Between getting kicked from the garden, the trails and tribulations of trying to be his family's protector and feeling as though he's failed them (especially when it came to Cain & Abel), and feeling as though he has failed in being the First Man too, he hides behind a superiority complex to cope, espeically after getting into Heaven and realizing his wife, Eve, wouldn't be joining them. 

Behind his physical and emotional tough mask of confidence, Adam hides his insecurities and fears. He deeply cares for his wife and his children, even if he might treat his kids with some tough love at times. What happened with Cain and Abel haunts him and only makes him feel as though he has failed as a father too. He handles the news of Eve not getting into Heaven terribly, using bad coping mechanisms to deal with it all while greatly missing his wife. 

BIOGRAPHY

From the dust of Earth, Adam and Lilith were the first humans created by the Angels, made to be equal and lived in the Garden of Eden. However, Adam wanted total control over Lilith, but she refused and left him for Lucifer Morningstar. Adam would later be given a new wife, Eve, who together with would then conceive the first generation of humans. They had many sons and daughters together with Cain, Abel and Seth being the first three sons among them. 

At some point, Adam received divine ordainment and became an angel, but was heartbroken over hearing how Eve had not ended up in Heaven with him or their family from Sera. Whilst in Heaven and struggling to cope with this heartbreaking news, it changed him and Adam became the leader of his own military, the Exorcists. He also met Lute, who became his lieutenant.

Seven years prior, Adam would suggest the Extermination to the High Seraphim Sera, which she reluctantly agreed to for the safety of Heaven. Sera's only rule was that he was to keep the Extermination a secret from the rest of Heaven, so the only people in Heaven allowed to know about the it were Sera, Adam, and the Exorcists. Some time roughly that same year, Adam and Lilith made a deal allowing Lilith to be allowed to live in Heaven.

After the battle in Season 1, Adam manages to survive, but loses his rank and becomes a Sinner Demon instead.
