Okay. I don't know if anyone else has had the trouble that I did getting Lego Star Wars The Video Game to work properly on Windows 10, but here's what I had to do to get it working. Once the game is installed, right click on the icon and go to "open file location". Right click on detectGPU, go to properties, then to compatibility, and run it using windows xp (service pack 2). If your game crashes when loading, go to the file location and delete the BIN file. it will be recreated every time you save your game, but deleting it doesn't change anything in game as far as I can tell. Finally if you are using an AMD graphics card you may experience a bug that makes it so you can't climb or even jump on certain surfaces. What I did was go into Radion settings>Gaming>Lego Star Wars, and set "wait for vertical refresh" to "off unless application specifies". I don't know how many people have this issue, but I hope someone finds this helpful :)

Well, the laptop comes with windows 10 by default with starwars stuffs , but the stupid seller has wiped the hdd and installed a spanish windows10 home iso. so HP recovery is not at all an option for me

I found by downloading through stream; it installed directX and other files which I can't recall names; that once those files had downloaded through stream as part of SWTOR download; that even the download through the main direct download started working. I suggest maybe try downloading through steam to see if it installs those extra files you need for the game.

Hello everybody. I've experienced the same issues with my game in the past few days. Indeed, as Ecald2 has answered, the game requirements are very high. It does not work with the Intel GPU, but only with a dedicated GPU. I have a laptop with an AMD Radeon additionally to the Intel GPU and the game stopped working when my dedicated GPU died few days ago, and I had to disable it (windows started to freeze eveytime I've tried to reinstall or update the AMD GPU driver). I have the same message for Intel GPU when I try to load the game. It simply does not run without a dedicated GPU. That is the fact. In my case, since I have a laptop, it means I will not be able to run the game again unless I buy another computer. That's the hard truth. So, it seems to me that the problem is not your Intel GPU, Dmann3, but the fact that you don't have a dedicated GPU to run the game. That's it.
