Choose your fate — the dark side or the light side of the Force — here in Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes! Live your Star Wars dreams by forming squads and parties with your favorite heroes. Create your forces and customize your squad according to their strengths and weaknesses, including new characters from the Star Wars universe. The party can include characters from different movies, including characters from The Force Awakens, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and The Last Jedi.
The game lets you play as a bar patron in a cantina, contrary to the beginning of many other Star Wars games. It also lets you play the galaxy on a board game of sorts, which is similar to the AR-chess that Chewbacca and R2D2 play onboard the Millennium Falcon. Play to the best of your strengths, enlist the help of various heroes, and win over your enemies in an immersive galaxy!
As you play through different battlefields — most of them being staples of the movie franchise — you’ll begin to build up your army. From simple soldiers such as Clone and Storm Troopers or Republic and Rebel soldiers, you’ll soon gain access to Jedis, Night Sisters, and famous characters from the series. Every Star Wars fan will surely not let the chance to command Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader slip away from them!
There is no building of empires here, nor making sure that you survive in the wilderness. The game has a galaxy that is full of both heroes and villains. As much as you’d want to get Luke Skywalker, though, you’ll have to win him in a battle one way or the other. You’ll also need to win famous Sith Lords like Darth Vader or Darth Sidious in the same fashion.
Earn your keep using the nameless soldier or the faceless trooper at the start. Work your way and you’ll eventually be able to let generic Jedis or Clone Troopers to join your ranks. A little more and you might just luck your way into letting characters like Poe Dameron or Lando Calrissian into your army before you eventually luck into winning Darth Vader or any of the big-name characters.
This game rewards those who play every day. You cannot finish this game in just one sitting; it’s a game that’s meant to be played every day, inching your way into a galaxy where enemies get stronger with each one you defeat. You’re also meant to get stronger. One day, you might find an insurmountable wall like the end of a level or a new boss that blocks your way. The next thing you know, you are repeating your battles with that boss just so you can get him or her into your party.
You might also face off against heroes from both sides and combine them to form your strongest army. There are endless possibilities. You can have a father and son team-up with Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker in one team. On another, the old Obi-Wan and the young Qui-Gon may be in. You can even choose to have the light and dark side stalwarts Darth Sidious and Master Yoda fighting together instead of each other.
The game features a lot of arenas. In the normal arenas, there is the Squad Arena, where you duke it out with other squads for the right to come out on top. In the Guilds, which you can join, some raids pit you and your guildmates against enemies like the Rancor and the AAT Tank. These aren’t easy battles, and it’s advisable to call on the help of your guildmates to finish the raid and get the sweet reward at the end.
One of the ultimate raids, however, is the Territory Battles. Here, you and your guild unleash everything you have in your arsenal – characters and all – against an ever-evolving battlefield. Do you have what it takes to win over these battles?
Rise from the bottom to the top, just like how Sheev Palpatine did it or how Anakin Skywalker rose from being a slave boy. In Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, You can create an army from scratch, using series staples like the Stormtroopers, the Jawas, Ewoks, or the Clone Troopers. Pit them against armies created by the AI or test your skills in the game arena.
There’s no grand strategy here, but you need to embrace the grind to field an adequate army capable of taking on the empire. Here are the game’s features; take a look at them to know how to build a proper army to seize back control of the galaxy from either the light side or dark side forces!
Your decision decides the galaxy’s fate. Select from your pick of stalwart Rebel and Resistance leaders or from your cadre of Empire and First Order officers. Choose your most elite soldiers and form teams of unlikely teammates that will take on the best the galaxy has to offer. Make key replacements, pick the best teammates, and ultimately become unbeatable.
Dominate the galaxy and turn your enemies to the light side or the dark. Pile victory upon victory as you proceed through the different levels in the cantina. Use your wins to upgrade your heroes, or choose new heroes to join you in your heroic journey through the galaxy. Fight other players in the cantina as well to prove who is the better field commander. Choose from the Squad Cantina Battles, PvP Arena, and Squad Tournaments.
The game is a battlefield, ranging from famous warzones in the Star Wars galaxy. Fight in the icy fields of Hoth. Face the enemy in the jungles of the forest moon, aided by the Ewoks. Face death in the Death Star and emerge victoriously. Many adventures await. Along the way, enlist the help of Luke Skywalker, Rey, Obi-Wan Kenobi, or face off against Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, or Darth Sidious!
Want to see the empire winning in Return of the Jedi? Do you envision a different outcome when the emperor admitted he was the Sith the Jedi were looking for? You can try and recreate these battles! Battlefields, to name a few, include the rebel base on Hoth, the Forest Moon of Endor, the deserts of Tatooine, and more! Win these battles with characters from different sides or go all-original and see a different outcome of how these battles should’ve gone in the movie!
Couldn’t get enough of how Luke Skywalker blew up the Death Star or Han Solo made the Kessel Run in just 12 parsecs? Replay those battles by collecting the iconic ships that Luke and company flew, and more. Complete all-new challenges, including those that test your ability to command massive fleets of different ships. Compete in the Fleet Arena to see how good you are as a commander. Fight these battles to gather materials to upgrade various characters, strengthen your vessels, and maintain their crew with characters from your collection. Recruit these characters to build up your unique armada!
EA and Star Wars seem like an inseparable combination. To be fair, it appears that Star Wars games under EA are popular because of the Star Wars name and not EA, which is a company with a dubious representation to the gaming community at large.
That doesn’t appear to be the case with this game, which is one of the better Star Wars games under EA’s mantle. It is meant for a slow yet escalating manner of playing. Players can win through free-to-play as much as they can win through pay-to-play. Players who are looking to cheat will have a hard time, as there are no legit cheats whatsoever that work. Most of it is doable without the use of hacks or mods, and even then, the benefits from these are visible after a bit of time.
There are some ways to make life easier while playing the game, and these always take the time and effort to play. Here are some tips on how to maximize your day-to-day playing the game. If played in short bursts, the game rewards players in surprising yet pleasant ways.
When playing, the urge to use your strongest from the beginning is there, especially if it includes monster buffers like Chewbacca. But this is wrong and it is advisable to use a dummy team first. Why? Because the AI will go create a tactic for this team instead. You can choose your best team afterward.
Many players think that the key to complete Galactic Wars lies in having stronger characters. The trick is to pick your battles wisely; in this sense, using weaker characters in the Galactic War will help you reach the Final stages quicker, where you can then use your fresher and stronger squads.
By reserving your Sim Tickets, we mean using only a maximum of two per auto-complete battle. Think of it as a strategy for gamblers. You don’t bet all your chips on just one number or card. The game rewards more odds to those who wait before cashing in all of their sim tickets, so sim wisely!
This feature is a large part of the game. Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes rewards those who are frequent players. Even PTP (pay-to-play) players are not safe from grinding. Using the Auto-Battle will help in speeding up the tedious repetition. You might even end up learning how to use your team’s positive buffs properly through this tactic.
FTP (free-to-play) players should finish their daily activities. It’s like a checklist for what must be accomplished for the day. After completing all the activities and meeting the requirements, rewards await at the end of every challenge. Use these rewards to strengthen your team so you could compete with the best or manage to climb the ranks.
Most of you must have your eyes set on the Sith Lord that’s more machine than man. Rightfully so, Darth Vader is a monster in the game. He’s a monster to unlock but he’s also a monster in battle. Working to unlock him isn’t just for building a Sith team of past and present Darths. It’s also to get his abilities, which are a benefit to any team that has him, Sith, or mixed.

If you’re an avid player, you’ll know that the redeemed Jedi Knight Revan is found in the game alongside Bastila Shan, the stalwart Jedi companion and prominent user of the Battle Meditation Force power.
What’s special about Bastila is that she comes with another character from the famed Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic series, Jolee Bindo. Bastila is no ordinary Jedi herself, aligning with the Jedi Council at the onset of the Jedi Civil War. She also fought against no less than the then-Darth Revan and his fallen apprentice, Darth Malak. Bastila is also one of the first Jedi characters you’ll come across when playing KOTOR.
Bindo, meanwhile, is a Coruscant Jedi Temple-trained Jedi. He is a tough-as-nails master of the Force, but his past forced him to break away from all things connected to the formal Jedi Council. He lived informally as a Jedi Master-in-exile on the planet Kashyyyk, mastering all there is to know about its dangerous fauna and fascinating flora. This is where the team led by the redeemed Jedi Revan finds him, and he reluctantly joins the team, giving advice only if it is needed.
Shan wields her signature double-bladed lightsaber into battle, and most of her skills and spells are close to her skills as a user of the Battle Meditation ability. In the game, she is a support Jedi, with most of her buffs and abilities a big benefit for heavy Jedi users.
Meanwhile, Jolee Bindo is a healer-support Jedi in this game. He’s as close as he can be to his personality in KOTOR. He is a guy who means well and is ready to help but is more than willing to have others join in the battle at his expense. He more than makes up for that with his ability, which is to level the playing field for his Jedi companions by reviving them when they fall.
Revan is a Jedi that’s interesting to cover. His fall from the light to the dark, and rising back to the light, is well-documented in KOTOR. That’s why in this PC game, the Jedi Knight is shown wearing his end-game Light Side gear – the Star Forge robes that are only available as Light Side implements and his mask.
He is shown donning his famous mask because the developers wanted his character as close as possible to his KOTOR self. In KOTOR, only players knew what his face looked like through designing it from the start. That is why in Galaxy of Heroes, he wears the mask he wore from his fall, and his succeeding return to the light once more.
These character updates are only the latest so far. With a lot of Star Wars content becoming available eventually, expect more characters explored, added, and grown into new members of your Star Wars squad.
