My name is Stanton Dodson, I am from the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Currently, I study at the University of North Carolina in Wilmington. I draw inspiration from all over eastern North Carolina and beyond, especially focusing on coastal landscapes and fauna. I am also drawn to the human form, expressive movements, and immersive natural experiences. I try to repurpose materials as they become available, whether thrifting used canvas' or collecting dune fencing as it washes up after a storm.
