I build evidence-centered learning experiences that encourage exploration and self-discovery.
I am a "pathfinder" in learning design, specializing in breaking down complex concepts into engaging, interactive experiences. With a strategic, empathetic approach, I design innovative learning solutions that encourage exploration and critical thinking. Whether through games, storytelling, or collaborative experiences, I create meaningful learning pathways that resonate with learners.
My Instructional Design Approach
Assess needs and create gap analyses
Analyze learner and task characteristics
Design learning outcomes, metrics, requirements
Design for learner agency, active learning theories, and Universal Design for Learning
Develop tasks, activities, and scenario-based modules
Implement elearning, hybrid, or face-to-face learning modes
Implement project requirements and metrics
Evaluate using formative, summative, confirmative assessments
This is a training project build in Articulate Rise for a non-profit organization in Denver, CO. The training orients learners to the organization goals and purpose, sets work expectations, and guides learner to next steps. The training includes accessibility features such as AI text to speech.
This evidence-based project shows new teachers and volunteers how to quickly adopt, adapt, or create new lessons and materials for adult language learners. It features the full ADDIE lifecycle: front-end analysis, learning objectives and activity alignment chart, design-document, storyboard, evaluation plans and rubrics, and modules created in Articulate Storyline 360.
This is the capstone project for my graduate certificate in Instructional Systems Design. The project steps through each phase of the ADDIE model while adding in key project management components including: gap analysis, project charter, work breakdown structure, project schedule, communication matrix, quality evaluation plan, and project closeout plan.
