Dear Coppell Community, We did it! 

On 10/27/25, the CISD Board voted 5–2 to keep Town Center Elementary open! After hours of debate, data, and passionate discussion — the Board said NO to the proposal to close TCE. Our kids will stay in their classrooms, with their teachers, friends, and routines — right where they belong. Thank you to every Board member for their time and dedication, and to Dr. Shivers and CISD staff for hearing the voices of our community. We’re hopeful this marks a new chapter — one focused on data-driven leadership, long-term planning, and smart revenue growth, not short-term decisions with incomplete facts. And to our parents, neighbors, and supporters — YOU made this happen. Your time, your research, your voices, and your unity brought this community together like never before. We’re more engaged, more united, and more determined than ever to build a stronger CISD for the future. From the bottom of our hearts — thank you, Coppell.
