I am a teaching assistant professor/postdoctoral associate in applied math at UNC-Chapel Hill. Previously, I did my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University under the guidance of Dr. Joshua Bostwick. I was born and raised in Bangladesh, where I did my B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
My research background includes a broad range of topics involving dynamics of fluid and soft interfaces. I seek out research problems that are important to fundamental science and novel industrial processes. These problems are often described by an interplay of multiscale forces that cause surfaces to deform, fluids to flow, and patterns to emerge in the physical world.
