3 Peaks Challenge Fundraising
3 Peaks Challenge raising funds for Stamford Kiwanis
Ali Macdonald and Angela Rosewood from Stamford are taking on the National Three Peaks 24 hour challenge at the end of July to raise money for Stamford Kiwanis - and also to get ready for their big challenge, climbing Kilimanjaro next year! The National Three Peaks involves climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon, the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in under 24 hours.
Ali is 40 and loves walking and the great outdoors and has done challenges in the past including the Six Dale's Challenge (42 miles across the Yorkshire dales in 12 hours) and is looking forward to doing these two amazing adventures for two great causes with Kiwanis and the National Three Peaks to be first for her to accomplish. She will be accompanied by the adventurous Angela who is 37 and works as a Staff Nurse and enjoys walking and the outdoors. Angela has done numerous adventures for charity including Skydiving, Wing Walking, Bungie Jumping and Abseiling. She's now looking forward to the ultimate challenges with Ali - climbing the 3 Peaks in 24 hours for Kiwanis and then Kilimanjaro next year for Alzheimers research.
