Introduction
Staffora is a field operations application developed for the internal use of authorized employees of Akij Jute, a wing of AkijBashir Group. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when field force employees use the App to manage farmer records and jute purchase transactions.
Staffora is publicly available for download on the Google Play Store; however, access to the App's features is restricted to authorized employees of AkijBashir Group / Akij Jute who have been issued login credentials by the Company. There is no public self-registration or sign-up — accounts are created and managed internally by the Company.
By using Staffora, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information We Collect
Employee login credentials (email and password), issued and managed by the Company. There is no self-sign-up; accounts are provisioned internally.
Employee profile name, displayed within the App.
When an employee adds a farmer record, the App collects and stores:
Farmer's name, contact details, and other identifying/business information provided at the time of entry
Farmer-related documents and photographs uploaded by the employee (captured via camera, selected from the device gallery, or uploaded as a file) — for example, identification or verification images
When an employee records a jute purchase, the App collects and stores details of the transaction (e.g., farmer reference, quantity, purchase details, and related business data associated with that transaction).
Basic network connectivity status (to determine online/offline availability), via the device's network state
Standard technical information such as device type and app version, which may be logged for troubleshooting and security purposes
To support farmer document uploads, the App requests permission to access:
Camera — to capture photos directly within the App
Photos/Gallery — to select existing images
Files/Storage — to upload documents from the device
These permissions are used strictly to attach farmer-related images and are only triggered when the employee actively chooses to add or update a photo.
How We Use Information
We use the information collected to:
Authenticate employees and restrict access to authorized personnel only
Enable employees to create, view, and search farmer and purchase records as part of their assigned job duties
Maintain accurate business records of farmer relationships and jute purchase transactions on behalf of AkijBashir Group
Display summary information (e.g., total farmers, total purchases) on the employee's home screen
Improve, troubleshoot, and maintain the App
Ensure the security and integrity of the Company's business data
We do not use farmer or employee data for advertising, and we do not sell any information collected through the App to third parties.
Data Storage and Security
All data collected through Staffora — including employee credentials, farmer records, uploaded images, and purchase records — is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on secure servers managed by or on behalf of AkijBashir Group. Access to this data is restricted to authorized personnel and systems required for business operations.
Data Sharing
Information collected through Staffora is used internally within AkijBashir Group / Akij Jute for business and operational purposes. We do not share farmer, purchase, or employee data with external third parties, except:
Where required by law, regulation, or legal process
With service providers who support our technical infrastructure (e.g., cloud hosting), who are bound to protect the data and use it only to provide services to us
Data Retention
Farmer and purchase records are retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the business and operational purposes described in this policy, and in accordance with the Company's internal record-keeping and regulatory requirements. Employee account data is retained for the duration of employment and as required thereafter for legitimate business purposes.
Employee Rights
Since Staffora is an internal enterprise tool, requests to access, correct, or delete data associated with an employee account, or farmer/purchase records entered by that employee, should be directed to the employee's designated administrator or the Company's IT/HR department through internal channels, rather than through the app store or a public support address.
Editing and Future Functionalilty
At present, farmer and purchase records cannot be edited or deleted directly within the App after creation. This functionality is planned for a future update. This Privacy Policy will be reviewed and updated as new features, such as edit and delete capabilities, are introduced.
Children's Privacy
Staffora is a business tool intended solely for use by adult employees of AkijBashir Group in the course of their employment. It is not directed at, and is not knowingly used by, children under the age of 18.
Permissions Summary
Staffora requests the following device permissions: Internet, to communicate with Company servers and sync data; Access Network State, to check connectivity status; Camera, to capture farmer document/verification photos; Photos/Gallery, to select existing images for farmer records; and Storage/Files, to upload documents from the device.
