Privacy Policy for Stackt

Overview
Stackt is a no-spend streak tracker. This policy explains what data the App handles, including data handled on our behalf by third-party services used for advertising.
Data Stored On Your Device (Not Collected By Us)
Stackt does not require an account, login, or any personal information to use. The App stores the following data locally on your device only, using standard Android storage (Room database and DataStore preferences):
• Your daily check-in entries (date and amount saved/spent)
• Your streak and best-streak history
• Your app settings: theme, notification time, default savings amounts, and onboarding status
None of this data is transmitted to us. It exists solely on your device, and uninstalling the App permanently deletes it.
Advertising
Stackt displays ads through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC, to support the App's continued development.
To serve ads, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
• Your advertising ID (a resettable identifier, not tied to your name or account, since the App has no accounts)
• Device information (device type, operating system version, coarse/general location such as country or city based on IP address)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us directly, and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Google's Publisher Policies.
Your choices:
• You can opt out of personalized advertising and reset your advertising ID at any time in your device settings.
• If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, the App will present a consent prompt before showing personalized ads, in line with applicable regulations.
Permissions
Notifications — used to send a daily local reminder to check in, if enabled in Settings. This is processed entirely on-device; no notification content is sent to us or any third party.
Data Deletion
Since your check-in and settings data is stored only on your device, you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the App, or by using "Reset Streak" in Settings to clear streak history. Advertising data processed by Google is subject to Google's own retention and deletion policies, described in Google's Privacy Policy.
Children's Privacy
Stackt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and the App's ad configuration is set to reflect a general (not child-directed) audience in accordance with Google Play's Families Policy and COPPA.
Changes to This Policy
If the App's data practices change further (for example, adding new third-party services), this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will be revised accordingly.
