PRIVACY POLICY FOR STACKQUAKE
Effective date: July 19, 2026
Last updated: July 19, 2026
1. Developer Information
Stackquake is an Android game developed by Stephen Adeya, trading as SkyFire Studios.
App name: Stackquake
Android package name: com.sadeya.stackquake
Privacy contact: sadeya243@gmail.com
This Privacy Policy explains what information Stackquake collects, why it is collected, how it is handled, and the choices available to players.
2. Current App Features
The current version of Stackquake:
• Does not require or provide user accounts.
• Does not contain advertisements.
• Does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions.
• Does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, photographs, messages, or precise location directly from players.
• Does not allow players to upload or publicly share user-generated content.
3. Information Collected Automatically
Stackquake uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. These services may automatically process the following information when the game is opened or used.
A. Gameplay and Usage Information
This may include:
• App launches and gameplay sessions.
• Screens or scenes opened.
• Menu interactions.
• Game mode and level activity.
• Block releases and placement results.
• Scores, completion results, failures, and progression events.
• Gameplay performance samples.
• App version and package information.
• Device operating system and version.
• Device model, manufacturer, architecture, and general technical information.
• Language, time zone, network type, and approximate geographic information such as country.
• Firebase installation identifiers, session identifiers, and other app or device identifiers made available to Firebase.
This information is used to understand how Stackquake is played, identify difficult or confusing areas, evaluate performance, and improve the game.
B. Crash and Diagnostic Information
When Stackquake crashes or encounters an error, Firebase Crashlytics may collect:
• Crash stack traces.
• Exception types and error messages.
• Non-fatal errors recorded by the game.
• The time and circumstances of the crash.
• Relevant application state.
• App version and build number.
• Device model, manufacturer, operating system, CPU architecture, memory, and disk information.
• Whether the game was active or in the background.
• Firebase installation, Crashlytics installation, and session identifiers.
• Diagnostic logs and technical keys attached to the crash report.
This information is used only to diagnose errors, improve stability, and reduce crashes.
4. Information Stored Locally on the Device
Stackquake stores game information locally on the player’s device, including:
• Campaign progress and unlocked levels.
• Scores and lifetime totals.
• Game settings and accessibility preferences.
• Save-file backups and recovery information.
• Local gameplay and diagnostic logs used for troubleshooting.
These local files are not automatically provided directly to the developer as files. Clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling Stackquake removes locally stored game information, subject to Android device and backup behavior.
5. How Information Is Used
Information collected through Stackquake is used to:
• Operate and maintain the game.
• Measure gameplay activity and engagement.
• Understand level completion and failure patterns.
• Improve gameplay balance and tutorial clarity.
• Diagnose crashes and technical errors.
• Improve compatibility, stability, and performance.
• Protect the integrity and reliability of the app.
• Prepare aggregate reports that do not directly identify individual players.
Stackquake does not use collected information to display targeted advertising.
6. Service Providers and Data Sharing
Stackquake uses Google Firebase, including Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. Google processes relevant app, device, analytics, and diagnostic information on behalf of the developer to provide these services.
Google and its approved subprocessors may process data using infrastructure located in different countries.
Stackquake does not sell or rent player information.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to:
• Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government request.
• Investigate fraud, abuse, security threats, or violations of applicable terms.
• Protect the rights, safety, and property of players, the developer, or the public.
7. Advertising and Purchases
The current version of Stackquake does not contain advertisements, advertising networks, paid subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
Analytics information is not used by the developer to show personalized advertisements inside Stackquake.
This Privacy Policy will be updated before advertisements, purchases, accounts, cloud saves, or other services that materially change data handling are introduced.
8. Data Retention
Local game data remains on the device until it is cleared by the player, removed by Android, or deleted when the game is uninstalled.
Firebase Analytics event data may be retained for up to 14 months, according to the configured Google Analytics retention settings.
Firebase Crashlytics generally retains crash reports, stack traces, and associated installation identifiers for approximately 90 days before beginning deletion from active and backup systems.
Information may be retained for a longer period when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, investigate security issues, or enforce agreements.
9. Data Deletion and Player Choices
Stackquake does not create player accounts and therefore does not maintain account profiles that require an account-deletion process.
Players may remove locally stored information by:
• Opening Android Settings.
• Selecting Apps.
• Selecting Stackquake.
• Choosing Storage.
• Selecting Clear data or Clear storage.
Uninstalling Stackquake also removes locally stored app data, subject to Android backup settings.
Players may contact sadeya243@gmail.com with privacy questions or deletion requests relating to information controlled by the developer.
Because analytics and crash information generally uses anonymous or pseudonymous installation identifiers rather than names or email addresses, it may not always be technically possible to identify a specific person’s records. Where information can reasonably be identified and deleted, valid requests will be handled subject to legal, security, and technical requirements.
10. Data Security
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information associated with Stackquake.
Firebase states that collected Firebase data is encrypted while transmitted using HTTPS. Access to Firebase reports is restricted to authorized project personnel.
No internet transmission, storage system, or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Children’s Privacy
Stackquake is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed toward children under 13 or below the minimum digital-consent age that applies in their country.
Stackquake does not knowingly request names, contact details, or account information from children.
A parent or guardian who believes that a child has provided personal information through Stackquake may contact sadeya243@gmail.com.
12. International Data Processing
Information processed through Firebase may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the player’s country of residence, including locations where Google or its service providers operate.
These countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those in the player’s country.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Stackquake’s features, data practices, third-party services, or legal obligations change.
The updated policy will display a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be disclosed through the app, its store listing, or another appropriate method where required.
