Apply to help

as a part of Gladwin Harrison Good Samaritans!

Are you healthy and not in a population that's at risk for complications from Coronavirus? Here's an opportunity to help those who are stuck at home due to age or health vulnerabilities and find themselves without a network of family or community supports.

As the current community health concerns unfold, people may need additional groceries/pharmacy/essential items. People could be lonely and anxious if they're alone. Others might need help navigating virtual technologies. We're building a team of volunteers who will have access to spreadsheets listing requests from individuals. Volunteers would then review the request logistics, contact the individual to receive the relevant details, complete the errand or make a plan to connect periodically. Please note; none of the tasks would require physical contact with the individuals, entering their home, handling money or providing transportation.

Please fill out the form below to apply to be a member of Gladwin Harrison Good Samaritans. You may volunteer as a family or as an individual over the age of 18. Volunteers may specify a particular group of tasks with which they can help. This program is in response to the unfolding situation. Therefore we will adapt as we go forward, thank you for learning with us. A coordinator of this resource will contact you to answer any questions, review the details of the program and assess how you might be of assistance. Thank you for offering aid to some of our most vulnerable parishioners.
