Nurturing Independent and Logical Thinkers:
The Need of the Hour
Independent and logical thinking is an indispensable pillar of intellectual and personal growth, equipping students with the confidence and clarity to navigate an increasingly intricate and unpredictable world. It fosters the ability to meticulously analyse situations, make well-reasoned and insightful decisions and approach challenges with a strategic and solution-oriented mindset rather than relying on passive memorization or external validation.
When students cultivate independent thought, they develop the courage to express their unique perspectives, challenge outdated and rigid conventions and engage in thought-provoking and meaningful discussions. Logical reasoning sharpens their ability to distinguish between credible facts and misleading information, nurturing a discerning and rational mindset that values accuracy and evidence-based conclusions.
Moreover, independent thinkers are exceptionally adaptable, highly innovative and remarkably capable of devising original and impactful solutions rather than blindly adhering to instructions. In an era marked by rapid technological advancements and ever-evolving global challenges, the ability to think critically and independently is not merely advantageous—it is essential. NEP also echoes these ideals.
This alignment between independent thinking and NEP’s vision reinforces the necessity of fostering intellectual curiosity as these invaluable skills will not only enhancethe academic performance of the students but also help them to evolve asthe responsible, visionary and independent individuals who can make sound, ethical judgments and contribute significantly to the progress and betterment of society.

New NEP is here to make things right,
They want to fill students' mind with knowledge's light.
They want us to try and understand, not just read,
Trying to teach us the things we need
From villages to cities, every corner shall get education,
This will make our golden bird a flying nation.
NEP's plan will empower holistic development,
A step towards Viksit Bharat's establishment.
All students learn skill, not just books,
NEP shows students successful routes.
It is making India a hub of science and technology,
Building the young minds' future successfully.
A new plan, a new future,
For the younger's nurture.
- Nairanjana Radhika, VII
It’s time to celebrate all women in our lives,
Let it be your mothers, sisters, or wives,
No matter who, a woman is gentle and kind.
We must respect both, her body and mind.
In trouble her strength won’t wane,
She smiles through distress despite strain.
To make us smile she gives her all, it’s true,
Even when facing challenges, old and new.
Through hardships her pain she’ll hide,
Not wanting others to share her heavy tide.
So open your eyes with compassion, take heed,
When you hear their cries, respond to their need.
Whether it’s your mother, sister, or a friend,
She is a woman, respect her without end.
Let’s acknowledge and celebrate all they do,
Encouraging others makes dreams true.
We must love them, genuinely show,
This is the key, to help relationships grow.
-Dhulipalla Aashwika 5-C
I see the bright stars in the night sky,
They make me want to jump to the sky,
But alas they are so high.
Their persevering light like a golden dawn,
Makes me want to bathe in the light of the sun.
Even when they are so high,
I will always aim for the sky.
Their untouched beauty feels unchanging,
But after some time, they will be fading.
Oh, I wish to be eternally unchanging,
But nothing can be ever sustaining.
Krishnav Taneja VI-B
