Welcome to the homepage of the Early Career Researcher Workshop of the 15th International Symposium of Spatial and Temporal Databases (SSTD 2017) in Arlington VA.

Scope and Aim: This workshop aims to help early-career researchers, e.g., junior faculty member and senior PhD students, in their professional development. Topics will be discussed include: funding opportunities and grant proposal preparation, tenure and promotion procedure, time management, student advising, and other related issues. We welcome SSTD participants to attend the workshop.

Planned Activities: Planned activities include panels and group discussion. We will invite program managers and recent awardees of NSF CAREER programs, and senior faculty members to share their experiences.

Registration Policy: This workshop is part of SSTD 2017. There is no additional registration requirements.
