THIS AGREEMENT CONSTITUTES A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT BETWEEN STACHEL SECURITY SERVICES LLC ("Company," "We," "Us") AND YOU ("Customer," "User") FOR THE RENTAL AND USE OF VOIP TELECOMMUNICATIONS HARDWARE.
BY PLACING AN ORDER, RENTING, INSTALLING, ACTIVATING, USING, OR CONTINUING TO POSSESS THE RENTAL HARDWARE, YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU MUST NOT RENT OR USE ANY EQUIPMENT FROM STACHEL SECURITY SERVICES LLC.
1. SERVICE OVERVIEW & RENTAL AGREEMENT
Stachel Security Services LLC provides rental hardware for use with its VOIP Telephone Service.
Rental hardware includes, but is not limited to:
Analog Telephone Adapters (ATA)
IP Phones
Private Automatic Branch Exchange (PABX) Units
VOIP Programming & Configuration Services
This is a rental service, NOT a purchase agreement.
All rental hardware remains the sole property of Stachel Security Services LLC at all times.
By accepting delivery or using the rental hardware, you agree:
You are leasing, not purchasing, the equipment.
You must return all hardware upon cancellation, termination, or upon request.
Failure to return hardware may result in fees, penalties, or legal action.
Customer must maintain the hardware in good working condition.
Customer is responsible for preventing theft, loss, damage, tampering, or unauthorized modifications.
Customer must not attempt repairs, disassembly, or reprogramming of rental hardware.
Stachel Security Services LLC is NOT responsible for cybersecurity threats, hacking, unauthorized access, or malware affecting VOIP hardware.
Customer is responsible for securing their network to prevent unauthorized access.
Customer must implement firewalls, password protection, and best security practices.
Rental fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable.
Failure to pay may result in service suspension, repossession of hardware, and legal action.
Customers may request rental hardware by calling (608) 721-6601, Extension 611 (Telephone Service Center) or VIA Email at Telephone@stachelsecurityservices.com .
Orders are subject to availability and approval.
Hardware must be returned in good condition within 14 days of cancellation, otherwise late fees may be imposed.
If the customer fails to return the equipment, they will be charged the full replacement cost at a fair market value.
VOIP SERVICES ARE NOT RELIABLE FOR EMERGENCY CALLS.
VOIP SYSTEMS DO NOT FUNCTION DURING POWER OUTAGES, NETWORK FAILURES, OR INTERNET DISRUPTIONS.
911 CALLS MAY FAIL, BE DELAYED, OR BE ROUTED INCORRECTLY.
Power failure (unless an independent battery backup is connected)
Internet Service Provider (ISP) disruptions or outages.
Router, firewall, or network configuration issues.
Cyberattacks, hacking, or denial-of-service (DoS) attacks.
Acts of war, terrorism, or government-imposed network shutdowns.
Natural disasters such as hurricanes, earthquakes, or floods.
Hardware failures, software malfunctions, or manufacturer defects.
Maintenance, system updates, or technical errors.
VOIP IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR TRADITIONAL TELEPHONE OR LIFE SAFETY COMMUNICATIONS.
Customers must have an alternative communication method, such as:
A landline phone.
A cellular device with emergency service access.
A two-way radio or other emergency alert system.
Customers must test their emergency plan regularly (DO NOT DIAL 911) and ensure all users are aware of alternative contact methods.
Unlike traditional 911 services, E911 calls via VOIP may be unreliable, delayed, or misrouted.
Emergency dispatchers may receive incorrect or outdated location data.
Customers must confirm their registered address is accurate with Stachel Security Services LLC.
The Customer is solely responsible for ensuring accurate E911 registration.
Stachel Security Services LLC is not liable for:
Incorrect emergency response due to inaccurate location data, false calls, or nuisance calls.
Failure to access emergency services due to VOIP limitations.
Loss of life, injury, or damages resulting from failed or delayed emergency communications.
Acts of God (earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, wildfires, tornadoes, or other natural disasters).
Acts of war, military actions, or government-imposed communication restrictions.
Terrorist attacks, cyberwarfare, or large-scale internet disruptions.
Nationwide or regional power grid failures.
Any event beyond the reasonable control of Stachel Security Services LLC.
The Customer agrees to waive all legal claims against Stachel Security Services LLC for:
Service failures, interruptions, or delays.
E911 inaccuracies, misrouted calls, or emergency response failures.
Losses due to power failures, internet outages, or network disruptions.
Any incident arising from terrorism, war, cyberattacks, or acts of God.
The Customer agrees to indemnify and defend Stachel Security Services LLC against:
Any third-party claims related to VOIP hardware failures.
Any lawsuits arising from improper use of rental hardware.
By renting VOIP hardware from Stachel Security Services LLC, the Customer acknowledges, understands, and agrees to all terms, conditions, disclaimers, and liabilities outlined above.
