Dr. C.K.Raman, our Secretary, holds a Ph.D., in Economics from the University of Madras where he was a full time research scholar, a research guide and faculty for a number of years. As secretary of the Indian Council of World Affairs for ten years his contributions have been immense. He represented India at the UNIDO deliberations in Austria in 1992. He also was a faculty at Sri Chandrasekhara Saraswathi Viswa Maha Vidyala (Deemed University). He has been Secretary and Correspondent of the SSKV Schools since 1992 and under his able administration the strength has risen from 1750 to 7250 today, and the Schools underwent modernization. He was instrumental in the founding of the college and since then he has been actively working to make ours the numero uno college in Kanchipuram. Apart from all these academic achievements Dr.C.K. Raman is a patron of art, music and culture. Не is also President of Kanchipuram Kamban Khazhagam and Secretary of the Kanchipuram chapter of the Theosophical Society. A very lovable and gentle person, Dr. C.K.Raman has chosen the Gita path of nishkamya karma and, therefore, all the institutions that come under the SSKV banner have carved out a special niche for themselves in Kanchipuram.
