Our important dates for this week are: 

June 24 - JV Meet at home vs Bromall’s Lake

• Arrive: 455pm

• Warm up: 5pm

• Meet Start: 6pm

All swimmers 8&under, 10&under, and 12&under are eligible to swim at this JV meet on Wednesday. IF swimmers do not wish to swim this Wednesday, they will need to CROSS OUT their name on the list near the Front Desk. Coach Jim hopes to have that full list out on Monday or Tuesday.  He will take the list by 12pm on Wednesday.

The varsity meet line-up will be posted at practice on Friday morning (Parents and swimmers, PLEASE do not take photos of the line up on Fridays). I will do my best to include as many swimmers as I can into the Saturday meets, however, numbers restrict who can swim and we want to score as many points as possible.  IF you are NOT AVAILABLE for a Saturday varsity meet, PLEASE "decline" in the Team Unify weblink.

June 28 - 25s to Save Lives Meet - In October of 2020, our swim team tragically lost Ethan Byrne.  Each year, some of Ethan’s teammates have done something to honor his memory.  This year, we will be holding our 4th annual, closed, non-sanctioned swim meet on Sunday, June 28th. All races will be one lap. We hope you will consider participating in this very worthy cause.

This year, we are donating the proceeds of the meet to the Hope for Hallie Foundation. You can learn more about this incredible foundation here: https://hopeforhallie.org/

When: Sunday, June 28th 8am

Where: Springfield Swim Club 

Who: Springfield Swim Club swimmers (12U, 14U, opens), all swim club alumni, swim friends far and wide, friends and former teammates of Ethan’s, and anyone who can swim one lap for an important cause.

Cost: $5.00 per event.  Please bring cash the day of the meet or VENMO (@Ben-Kutufaris). Maximum of 3 individual events.

Relays: Relays will be created the morning of the meet. When you arrive, head to the relay table.

How to register:  Use this Google form to register for the meet.  All registrations are due by June 25th.

Suits are available through Toad Hollow Athletics.  Sizing kits will be available at the pool the first two weeks of practice (5/26-6/5) or afterwards in store at 1590 Lancaster Ave. Paoli, PA.
