About
Dr. Srirupa Das is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at RCC Institute of Information Technology, West Bengal since August, 2023. Dr. Das has completed her Ph.D. in Tech (CSE) from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal.
Dr. Das received the M.Tech degree in Information Technology from Govt. College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, and B.Tech degree in Information Technology from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, India in 2017 and 2015 respectively. She has received Gold Medal in M.Tech, 2017. She has qualified UGC NET as AP in June, 2019.
She has worked as an JRF (Research Project, DST, Govt. of India, during 2017- 19) in the Dept. of Information Technology, Govt. College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology, Kolkata and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal as well.
She has 3 years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor in CSE at RCCIIT and 1 year of teaching experience as Assistant Professor in CSE at IEM, Kolkata.
Her research interest includes Hyperspectral image unmixing, remote sensing and geographic image processing, pattern recognition, and noise filtering with the current focus on change detection using the time series remote sensing datasets.

Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal.
Qualified UGC NET as Assistant Professor.
