Dr. Srijibendu Bagchi received B.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Kalyani. He did his M.Tech and PhD in Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta. He joined RCC Institute of Information Technology (RCCIIT) in 2009 as a lecturer and currently acing as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. He acted as the Program Coordinator of the PG course in Communication Engineering for several years. During 2019 - 2020 he served as the Head of the Department.
Dr. Bagchi has published more than15 research papers in peer reviewed journals and conferences along with a number of book chapters. He also served as a reviewer of the journals and conferences of international repute. Besides these he acted as conveners or coordinators of a number of Faculty Development Programs and seminars. He acted as the session chair in the international conferences Research and Applications in Artificial Intelligence (RAAI - 2020) and Industrial Instrumentation and Control (ici2c - 2021). He is a member of IEEE GRSS Kolkata Chapter and a life member of Indian Association for Productivity, Quality and Reliability (IAPQR). His research interest includes Wireless Communication, Signal Processing and Wireless Energy Harvesting .
