Sonic Robo Blast 2 is a 3D open-source Sonic the Hedgehog fan game built using a modified version of the Doom Legacy port of 1993's Doom. SRB2 is closely inspired by the original Sonic games from the Sega Genesis, and attempts to recreate the design in 3D. While SRB2 isn't fully completed, it already features tons of levels, enemies, speed, and quite a lot of the fun that the original Sonic games provided. While the old Web Demo is no longer supported, you can still download the latest version using one of the links below.

Note that there is no official release of the game for Linux. The flatpak provided here is entirely community maintained, or you can compile the code yourself if you'd prefer. Alternatively, you can use WINE to run the Windows version above, or use Anbox to run the Android version.
