I follow because I like your muse. I am not fond of this new trend of only following people with which you are actively writing. I have no expectation that you follow me back, I just want to see you on my dash and to get a feel for your style before we interact. I'll reach out when I am caught up on threads and ready with both ideas and time to start something new. You can always reach out to me though.

Dark content is tagged when explicitly depicted. There will be mentions of themes such as child abandonment (both Chuck's parents left before he was 14), depression, violence (fights, blood, weapons, etc.), and death. These come up a lot and if you find them triggering then I don't recommend following.

I have no triggers, but I’d appreciate if anything COVID-19 related could be tagged. I have most variants of the tag filtered. COVID-19 is also not ‘canon’ for any of my present day RPs; I have to deal with lockdown in real life, I don’t want to have to deal with writing about it.

I have a no tolerance policy about any bashing directed at the cast. Anything that falls into this category earns an instant block from me. They created a thing we love, respect that.

General RP rules apply - don’t godmod, metagame, etc.

Due to the nature of Chuck’s abilities, he may have access to details about your character if they are (1) government agents, (2) criminals, or (3) notable enough to have made it into the Intersect. I pull this information from your bio. This is not me godmodding, it’s just part of Chuck’s character.

I love getting questions for Chuck! Please don’t try to RP through IMs or the askbox, however, and if you want to continue a meme, please put it into a new post.

My Chuck is exclusive with brokenspy’s Sarah (multi-muses with other Sarahs are welcome to follow).

Romantic interactions can happen, provided the thread is set prior to Chuck getting together with Sarah, but Charah is endgame in all interactions. For example, he could go on a date with your muse and care for them, but ultimately he's always going to find him way to Sarah. Prior to meeting Sarah, he's far too caught up on what happened with Jill to have a strong relationship. I'd love to explore some of those terrible dates he went on during that time though!

My preferred formatting is normal capitalization, small text, and red dialogue, with titles that imitate the series (vs _____). I try to adapt to partner’s styles but I really appreciate if you use normal capitalization. I also need the titles to keep track of threads; you’re welcome to delete the title if you don’t want it and I’ll just add it back on my reply.

My blog is run on a queue. Due to work, I am primarily only active on weekends and sometimes at night.

If you like a starter call and don’t like what I wrote, please tell me! That way I can adapt your old starter into an open and get you something else. Please consider answering an open starter - this avoids the chance you won’t like your starter and you can answer anytime!

For plotting, I prefer if you greet me like “Hey, I’d love to RP with you and I was thinking of _____” instead of “Hey”, “Hey”, “Hello?”.

I add characters when needed to move the plot forward. This includes canons and OCs.

Stevie (Charah’s OC daughter) is my own creation - please give her the respect you would other OCs. The name is a common choice, however, and if you want to call your Charah kid OC Stephanie, please don't think that I will be offended. In fact, I'd love to write with her!

Selectively, I will write with canons, OCs with bios, crossovers, and OC Charah kids.

I won’t write with characters based on real people, personified objects, or characters without a bio. I also tend to avoid gender-bends and people who write alpha omega.
