This Privacy Policy explains how Sproutly (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Sproutly mobile application.

1) Summary

Sproutly does not require an account and does not ask for personal information (such as name, email, phone number).
Sproutly does not collect or transmit personal data to our servers.
The App stores certain settings and usage statistics locally on your device to provide core functionality.

A. Information you provide

We do not ask you to submit personal information to use Sproutly.

B. Information stored locally on your device

Sproutly stores the following data on your device only (using local app storage):

App settings (e.g., language, theme/dark mode, sound and haptics preferences, selected ritual theme)
Ritual/focus usage statistics (e.g., total minutes, completed session timestamps) This data is used to make the app work and remember your preferences. It is not uploaded to us.

C. Automatically collected information

Sproutly does not integrate analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. We do not collect identifiers for advertising or profiling.

3) How We Use Information

We use locally stored information only to:

Remember your preferences (language, theme, sound/haptics)
Display your ritual history and statistics
Improve user experience within the app (e.g., restoring your last selections)

4) Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information because we do not collect it.

5) Third-Party Services and Web Content

Sproutly may open external web pages inside the app (for example, a “Privacy Policy” page displayed via an in-app web view). When you visit an external website:

We do not control those third-party websites and are not responsible for their practices. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any website you visit from within the app.

6) Data Retention

Local settings and statistics remain on your device until you delete the app or clear the app’s storage.
We do not retain user data on our servers.

We take reasonable measures to keep the app functioning securely. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. Since Sproutly stores data locally on your device, your device security settings (passcode/biometrics) also help protect your data.

8) Children’s Privacy

Sproutly is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at sproutly-support@gmail.com and we will address the issue.

9) Your Choices

You can change app preferences at any time in Settings (e.g., language).
You can remove local data by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage in your device settings.

10) Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Effective date” above when changes are made.
