Springwood PS P&C were excited to launch the new Fuel for School breakfast program, in Term 1 2025, running three days a week.
The program invites all students to arrive at school a little early on Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week to share in a healthy breakfast with their friends.
There is no cost to the school, students or families as the school has partnered with Foodbank Australia to provide cereal, milk, fresh fruit, and a range of other breakfast items (subject to availability).
This is a school-community driven program and we need volunteers to keep it going! Tasks include helping serve hungry kids and washing up after breakfast. This is a low effort way to volunteer for the school and make a genuine difference to Springwood Public School kids and families, and you'll meet a bunch of other cool and wonderful parents and family members. It’ll also be a lot of fun, watching kids enjoy a social experience as they gear up for a new day.
If you can spare an hour of your morning once a week or f, please sign up!
