Beauty's Community Corporation serves food desert communities through Beauty's Community Garden. Our programs, events, and educational materials are focused on breaking the cycle of food insecurity, poor nutrition, and the resulting health outcomes people within communities with limited access to fresh produce experience. These communities are called food deserts. We are committed to bringing awareness and impacting the lives of the residents in these communities.
The Program Development Intern will assist the program development team in various tasks, including clerical work, event planning, and managing the quality, budget, and schedule of programs.
Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
Help plan and organize outreach events and activities.
Assist in creating and managing program schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
Support the development and implementation of program materials and resources.
Collaborate with team members to ensure program goals are met.
Assist with grant applications and department-related notifications.
Perform web browser testing and other technical tasks as needed.
Currently enrolled in a degree program (preferably in business administration, public administration, project management, public administration, or a related field).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
