In most parts of the country iced tea is a summertime favorite. In Texas and the South, it's a year-round favorite. Every family has their own special way of making it, and the Johnsons were no exception. Mrs. Johnson had her own recipe she called the LBJ Ranch Spiced Tea that she served all year, hot or cold. During the White House years, she often hosted dinners and parties at the LBJ Ranch, and of course served her spiced tea to guests.
