I switched the setting from 9+ to 17+ and then I was allowed to download spotify onto my child's phone. The 12+ setting may work also, I dunno... it's taken me 45 minutes to get this far and I'm just happy to have finally figured it out.
I'm having two strange issues with my iPhone 13 Pro (only a couple of months old). Siri keeps activating the prompt for a command by itself, and my phone will randomly start playing a song from spotify, even if the spotify app is closed. I have shut down and restarted my phone twice now to try and fix it, but it seems not to work. Any idea how to stop this?

I'm experiencing the same with my iPhone 15 Pro running 17.0.3. I mainly listen to Spotify via a Bluetooth headset while working.
Since I've gotten my new phone, I've experienced it running very hot while playing spotify in the background. Right now I'm sitting here with a burning hot prhon. The battery menu states that Spotify has consumed 53% of the battery after playing music in the background for 3 hours - that is 3 hours of screen off time with Spotify being the only app that's running.
I've not had any prior issues with Spotify playing in the background all day, on my iPhone 12 pro. That was even with plenty on battery to spare by the end of the day.
In our family, we have an android (spotify works on wifi), iphone 11 pro (spotify works on wifi), 2 iphone 11's (neither works on wifi) and an iphone 6 (doesnt work on wifi). The fact that the other devices' Spotify apps do work on the wifi make me believe this is an Spotify app/phone issue. (All phones can use wi-fi with no problem on other apps).
This is not a solution at all. I have legal songs on my macbook that i purchased from a musical theater company and i need to access them on my iphone and none of the suggested tactics work. They are specifically NOT available from the Spotify catalog. Please help!
How do I play spotify through my bluetooth headset? After upgrading, spotify only plays through my iphone even if the bluetooth headset is already connected. No option on spotify to play through the headset either.
I am also having the same issue with my OnePlus 11 Pro and upgrading to Android 13. This is not an issue on my iPhone or via desktop. In addition, its not just Sonos devices but I cannot see my Roku devices which I was also able to play spotify music through.
It worked for a while, I have Sonis boxed everywhere, none are showing up anymore. In the sonos app it works(but the app is not nice to use). On my girlfriends iphone it's working thriugh spotify. I can see my TV and my google chromecast always though.
Open Settings then go to the safari tab and open it.
Open advance
open website data and scroll until you see remove all website data.
Click on that until all website data removed. Close settings.
Then log in to spotify through the website (www.Spotify.com) Log out everywhere.
Open djay app go to settings ,open library, log out of spotify.
Restart or reboot the phone.
