This Privacy Policy explains how SportyAI (“Application”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application that provides sports match data, statistics, and AI-generated analysis for a range of sports including football, basketball, tennis, ice hockey, volleyball, baseball, cricket, and American football.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how the Application operates.
1. Information We Collect
The Application does not collect or store personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or contact details.
However, the Application collects limited non-personal data that is strictly necessary for core app functionality.
1.1 Anonymous User Identification
The Application uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a unique, anonymous user identifier (“User ID”).
This User ID:
does not contain personal information
cannot identify you outside the Application
The anonymous User ID is used only to:
enable core app functionality
manage access to features
restore subscriptions and usage limits after app reinstallation
ensure secure operation of the Application
1.2 Subscriptions and Purchase Data
The Application offers optional auto-renewing subscription plans and one-time (consumable) purchases.
All payments and purchases are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to any payment or billing information.
Purchase history data may be associated with the anonymous User ID solely to:
verify subscription status
restore access to purchased features
track remaining and purchased usage limits
1.3 Device and App Information
The Application may collect limited technical information such as:
device type
operating system version
app version
This information is used only to maintain app stability, security, and performance.
1.4 Public Profile and Community Content
If you choose to create a public handle, the Application stores and displays your chosen handle, avatar, and prediction statistics (such as accuracy and streaks) on public leaderboards and profiles visible to other users. Match predictions and emoji reactions you submit may also be shown to other users in an aggregated or attributed form. This information contains no real-world identity data. You can use the Application without creating a public handle.
2. AI Processing Data
When you request AI analysis, the Application sends only match-related data (teams, scores, statistics) to external AI services.
When you use the AI Chat feature, the questions and messages you type are also sent to external AI services to generate a response. Please do not include any personal, sensitive, or identifying information in chat messages. Chat content is processed only to produce the AI reply and is not used to identify you.
We do not send:
personal user data
contact information
device identifiers
any data that can identify you
AI services process this data solely to generate analytical content and chat responses.
3. How We Use Information
Collected data is used exclusively to:
operate and maintain the Application
provide AI-generated match analysis and chat responses
restore subscriptions and usage limits
display public leaderboards and community content (only if you opt in)
improve app stability and performance
We do not sell, rent, or share user data for advertising, marketing, analytics, or tracking purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
The Application uses trusted third-party services, including:
Firebase (anonymous authentication and secure data storage)
AI services for content generation
a third-party sports data provider (match scores, statistics, lineups)
a third-party news provider (sports news headlines)
These services process data only as required to support Application functionality and operate under their own privacy policies.
4.1 News Content and External Links
The Application may display sports news headlines from third-party news providers and links to external websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those external sites.
5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Some features of the Application use automated artificial intelligence systems.
AI-generated content:
may contain inaccuracies
may be incomplete
may differ from actual match outcomes
AI analysis is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only and must not be used for betting, gambling, financial decisions, or high-risk activities.
6. No Betting or Gambling
The Application does not promote betting or gambling in any form. We are not responsible for decisions made by users based on AI analysis or match statistics.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data processed by the Application. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most recent version will always be available within the Application or on its public page.
