Firebase Realtime Database:

Google Sign-In:
We use Google Sign-In for authentication. We only receive basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) from Google. We do not store your Google password.

Active account data: Stored indefinitely while your account is active
Deleted account data: Permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion
Backup data: Retained for up to 60 days for recovery purposes

Sharing Within the App:
Expense data is shared with members of groups you join
Your name and email are visible to group members
Balance and settlement information is visible to relevant group members

View your personal information in the app
Update your profile details anytime
Modify or delete your expenses and groups
Delete Your Account:
You can delete your account from the Profile settings
Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days
Opt-Out:
Disable analytics tracking (if available in settings)
Control notification preferences

Splitup is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately, and we will take steps to delete such information.
