*   **With Other Users:** When you are part of a shared collection, your display name and the bills you add are visible to all other participants in that specific collection.

*   **Service Providers:** We use Firebase (by Google) for authentication, database (Firestore), and notifications. Your data is processed by these services according to their privacy standards.

*   **Legal Requirements:** We may disclose your information if required to do so by law.

Data is stored securely using Google Cloud infrastructure (Firebase). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

*   **Access & Update:** You can view and update your display name and collection data within the App.

*   **Data Deletion:** You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data (bills, collections where you are the sole owner) by contacting our support.

*   **Notifications:** You can manage notification preferences through your device settings.

SplitBill is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
