Privacy Policy
Split Second (“Developer”) respects the privacy of users of the SplitSecond application (“App”). This policy explains what information the App processes and why.
1. Information processed by the App
User-selected video and audio: Processed on the device to detect the start beep and shots, edit markers, and create videos with a timer overlay. The App does not automatically upload original videos to the Developer’s servers.
Local editing information: Recent video URIs and names, shooting mode, beep and shot marker times, trim ranges, detection corrections, and App preferences may be stored in the App’s private storage.
Feedback submitted by the user: If a user selects a video and sends an email through the detection-improvement feature, the attached video, message, App version, and environment details entered by the user are sent to the Developer.
2. Use of shooting-video feedback
Videos voluntarily submitted by users may be used to reproduce detection errors, analyze audio conditions, expand datasets, train and validate models, and improve detection performance. Users should submit only videos they recorded or have permission to share. The Developer does not sell feedback videos for advertising purposes.
3. Third-party services
The App uses the following Google services, whose SDKs may transmit information off the device:
Google AdMob: May process approximate location derived from IP addresses, App interactions, diagnostic information, and advertising or device identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
Firebase Analytics: May process App interactions, App and device information, installation identifiers, and related technical information to understand usage and stability.

4. Storage, sharing, and retention
Local editing information may remain on the device until it is deleted or the App is uninstalled, and may be included in Android backups depending on device settings. Videos that users save or share are handled by the selected destination and its policies.
Original videos and feedback received by email are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to review detection issues and improve the models. Users may request deletion of original attachments using the email address below. Information already transformed into de-identified statistics or learned model parameters may no longer be recoverable as a specific video.
5. User choices and deletion
Sending video feedback is optional and occurs only after the user explicitly selects and shares a video. Uninstalling the App removes its local App data. Separately saved or shared videos, operating-system backups, and data held by external services must be managed through the relevant storage location or service settings.
6. Security
The Developer uses reasonable technical and administrative safeguards. However, no method of storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.
7. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and the Developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when App features or applicable requirements change. Material changes will be indicated by updating the effective date on this page.

Split Second(이하 “개발자”)는 SplitSecond 앱(이하 “앱”) 이용자의 개인정보를 존중합니다. 이 방침은 앱이 처리하는 정보와 그 이용 목적을 설명합니다.
1. 앱이 처리하는 정보
사용자가 선택한 영상과 음향: 시작 비프음과 사격음을 분석하고, 마커를 편집하며, 타이머 오버레이 영상을 만들기 위해 기기 내에서 처리됩니다. 앱은 선택한 원본 영상을 개발자 서버에 자동으로 업로드하지 않습니다.
기기 내 편집 정보: 최근 영상의 URI와 이름, 사격 모드, 비프·사격 마커 시간, 트림 범위, 탐지 수정 내용 및 앱 설정이 앱 내부 저장소에 보관될 수 있습니다.
사용자가 직접 보내는 피드백: 설정의 탐지 개선 기능을 통해 사용자가 영상을 선택하고 메일을 보내는 경우, 첨부 영상, 메일 내용, 앱 버전 및 사용자가 작성한 환경 정보가 개발자에게 전달됩니다.
2. 사격 영상 피드백의 이용
사용자가 자발적으로 보낸 영상은 탐지 오류 재현, 음향 특성 분석, 데이터셋 보완, 모델 학습·검증 및 탐지 성능 개선을 위해 사용할 수 있습니다. 공유 권한이 있는 영상만 보내야 합니다. 개발자는 피드백 영상을 광고 목적으로 판매하지 않습니다.
3. 제3자 서비스
앱은 아래 Google 서비스를 사용하며, 해당 SDK가 정보를 기기 밖으로 전송할 수 있습니다.
Google AdMob: 광고 제공, 분석 및 부정행위 방지를 위해 IP 주소를 통한 대략적 위치, 앱 상호작용, 진단 정보, 광고·기기 식별자 등을 처리할 수 있습니다.
Firebase Analytics: 앱 이용 현황과 안정성을 파악하기 위해 앱 상호작용, 앱·기기 정보, 설치 식별자 및 관련 기술 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다.

4. 저장, 공유 및 보유 기간
로컬 편집 정보는 사용자가 삭제하거나 앱을 제거할 때까지 기기에 저장될 수 있으며, 기기의 Android 백업 설정에 따라 백업될 수 있습니다. 사용자가 저장·공유한 결과 영상은 사용자가 선택한 위치 또는 앱의 정책에 따라 처리됩니다.
메일로 받은 원본 영상과 피드백은 탐지 문제 검토 및 모델 개선에 필요한 기간 동안만 보관합니다. 사용자는 아래 이메일로 원본 첨부파일의 삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다. 이미 비식별 통계나 모델의 학습 결과로 변환된 정보는 특정 영상으로 복원되지 않을 수 있습니다.
5. 선택권과 삭제
영상 피드백 전송은 선택 사항이며 사용자의 명시적인 영상 선택과 공유 동작이 있을 때만 이루어집니다. 앱을 제거하면 기기 내 앱 데이터가 삭제됩니다. 별도로 저장하거나 공유한 영상, 운영체제 백업 및 외부 서비스의 데이터는 각 저장 위치와 서비스 설정에서 관리해야 합니다.
6. 보안
개발자는 합리적인 기술적·관리적 보호 조치를 사용합니다. 다만 어떠한 저장 또는 전송 방식도 절대적인 보안을 보장할 수는 없습니다.
7. 아동의 개인정보
앱은 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 개발자는 만 13세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.
8. 방침 변경
앱 기능이나 관련 법령이 변경되면 이 방침을 수정할 수 있습니다. 중요한 변경 사항은 이 페이지의 시행일을 갱신하여 알립니다.
