Spiritual Adoption (“the app”) is a simple daily prayer reminder.
What the app does
The app shows a short prayer at a time you choose. You can share an invitation message and view community totals.
Information we collect
NO PERSONAL INFORMATION IS COLLECTED. The app does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email, or phone number.
On your device
- The daily reminder time you choose
- Whether the reminder is turned on
- Language preference
- A flag so this installation is counted only once in community totals
This stays on your phone unless noted below.
Analytics (Firebase Analytics / Google)
The app sends anonymous usage events to Google Firebase, such as:
- App opened
- Prayer screen shown
- Reminder turned on or off
- Launch count on this device
This helps understand how the app is used. It is not used to sell ads from this app.
Community totals (Cloud Firestore / Google)
The app stores two numbers on Google’s servers:
- How many installations have opened the app (“People praying”)
- How many times the prayer screen has been shown (“Prayers offered”)
These are totals only. They are not tied to your name.
Sharing
If you tap Share, the app opens your messaging app with an invitation you can send. Recipients and messages are handled by your phone’s messaging app, not by Spiritual Adoption servers.
Permissions
The app may ask for notification permission and exact-alarm permission so the daily prayer can appear on time.
Children’s privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not collect personal information from children.
Data sharing
Usage and totals are processed by **Google Firebase**. NO PERSONAL INFORMATION IS COLLECTED, thus we do not sell your personal information.
Changes
This policy may be updated, but any update will adhere to the policy of NO PERSONAL INFORMATION BEING COLLECTED. The date at the top will change if and when the policy is updated.
