About Janice

Rev. Dr. Janice L. Dreshman's path to mediumship has been rich and diverse. Although she experienced the capacity to see and hear spirits as a child, she did not specifically develop these skills until her mid-twenties. Janice's lifelong involvement in the martial arts, adherence to both Celtic and Native American traditions, her deep connection to her Swedish family lineage dating to the 1100s, and her spiritual pilgrimages abroad to England, Scotland and Ireland all enhanced the spiritual grounding for her current work.

Rev. Dr. Janice L. Dreshman, is a Registered Medium in Lily Dale, New York, the largest Spiritualist community and center for the study of Spiritualism in the world. Janice has worked with people from all over the world. Janice reads for a number of children and teens as well as adults, and Loves the openness that kids bring to spiritual matters. In addition to her service as a professional medium and an ordained minister, Janice has worked with children, adolescents, adults, the elderly and the military for more than thirty years. Much of this work has focused on coping with trauma, crisis, grief, risk prevention and psycho-spiritual transformation. Janice was recognized for her work both nationally and internationally when she received the Crystal Award. She was also the recipient of the General Colin Powell Leadership Award for her work with families, the community and the military.

Rev. Dr. Dreshman has published several related articles. She is the co-author of the books "Caring in Times of Crisis: and “Can you ask my Dad what it’s like in Heaven. She co created The KRAN Fairy Deck Cards and two CD's: Fairy Elements & Meditation and Shamanic Drumming & Elemental Meditation. Rev. Dr. Dreshman received her ordination for ministry as a Spiritulaist Minister as well as her certification as a Metaphysician. Janice is also a Certified Fairyologist! Janice holds a master’s degree in social work and a doctorate in Educational leadership. Janice has also been certified as a therapy dog handler. She enjoys Events and delivering messages from Loved Ones (both people and pets) in Heaven/spirit and continues to enjoy teaching workshops, development circles and classes. Janice sees it as both an honor and privilege to be of service and to serve God/Spirit.

Originally from the Pittsburgh area, Janice is a resident of Lily Dale, New York. And, yes, since a number of you have asked, Janice was born a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, with a secret commitment to the Buffalo Bills. And, of course, GO PENS AND PIRATES! Janice offers both in-person and telephone readings throughout the year. Consistent with her long-standing interest with volunteerism, animals and her desire to be of service, Janice regularly provides distance healing to animals undergoing surgery at various veterinary hospitals and makes visits to various animals at the request of their owners. She also participates in prayer and distance healing work through several churches and for individuals, as well as their animals, as requested. During the "Summer Camp Season" (End of June through Labor Day) in "The Dale", Janice volunteers at outdoor message services, Monday Night Circles, Children's & Teen Week, community fundraisers and serves on "The Platform" when requested. Off season, Janice continues to see pre booked clients, Continues the KRANTASTIC Special presenting worskhops and classes on various topics such as demonstation of mediumship, Shamansim, Positivity, and Fairies. Janice also continues her service work of ministry, mediumship and volunteerism.
