Mike Kloepfer has founded many successful acts and participated in music projects throughout his 50-plus years in music.  Spirit  Ridge has been his primary focus for almost ten years.  Mike got his start in the 1970s playing in the locally popular Stiffwater rock band, which he initially formed at the age of 13.  He is a diverse multi-instrumentalist and has extensive experience in all aspects of music production.  He is also a talented artist and spearheads the band's promotion efforts.

Mike plays the acoustic guitar and sings lead and backing vocals.

JJ Maestas has been performing and composing music for over forty years.  He joined with Mike fifteen years ago to form Ironwood Rain, which would evolve into Spirit Ridge with some personnel changes.  The band would find local success as a folk trio and later as a duo.  JJ's amazing songs were the band's driving creative force that kept them performing locally and maintaining an active recording regimen.  Unique arrangements of classic and popular songs is JJ's focus and specialty.

JJ sings most of the lead vocals and some backing vocals, and is an accomplished acoustic guitarist.  He can also play bass, some keyboards and ukulele.

Aaron met Mike when he was recruited into the Stiffwater band in 1973.  They would collaborate through the decades on Aaron's solo albums and also played together in the Voyager rock band, one of the first local bands to feature a female singer.  In that group, Aaron and Mike traded off guitar, keyboard and bass duties.  Usually on a lead instrument, Aaron was happy to offer his services of playing bass for Spirit Ridge, fulfilling a long-time passion.  Aaron's previous experience in numerous bands and recording is extensive, but he is happy to support Mike and JJ in their ongoing endeavor that is Spirit Ridge.

Aaron also contributes harmony vocals and mandolin in the ongoing effort to expand the band's creative horizons.
