Chilkur Balaji Temple, also known as Visa Balaji Temple, is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Balaji, a form of Lord Vishnu. They perform 11 circumambulations around the inner shrine and make a vow to Lord Balaji. Once their wish is fulfilled, they return to the temple and perform 108 circumambulations as a gesture of gratitude. The temple has earned the nickname of Visa Balaji Temple because of this phenomenon.

The temple attracts thousands of devotees every day from different parts of the country and the world. The temple is open from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm every day. The temple conducts various festivals and celebrations throughout the year, such as Brahmotsavam, Annakutotsavam, Vaikunta Ekadashi, etc. The temple also organizes various social service activities, such as free medical camps, blood donation camps, etc., for the benefit of the society.
