1. Summary

Spinvest is a simple, entertainment-focused app that lets you spin a daily S&P 500 ticker. We do not require accounts and we do not run our own servers to collect personal data. Limited data may be processed by third-party services used in the app (e.g., Google AdMob for ads).

2. Data We Collect

• No account data: We do not collect your name, email, or financial information.
  
  

• On-device data: Favorites, history, language choice, ad counters and settings are stored locally on your device via SharedPreferences. We (jbmsoft) do not have access to this data.
  
  

• Network requests: The app fetches a public CSV of S&P 500 constituents to refresh the ticker list. The request is a standard HTTP call; jbmsoft does not log or store it server-side.
  
  

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

We use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded ads.
AdMob may collect device information (e.g., Advertising ID), coarse location, and usage data to serve and measure ads in accordance with Google’s policies. You can limit ad personalization at the OS level (Android: Ads settings / iOS: Tracking & Ads settings).

4. Notifications

We use local notifications to remind you around 09:30 to check your daily ticker. Granting notification permission is optional and can be changed in system settings at any time. Notification schedules are generated on-device.

5. Links to Other Sites

The app provides shortcuts to external finance pages (e.g., Google Finance). These third-party sites are not operated by jbmsoft. Please review their privacy policies when you use them.

6. Children’s Privacy

Spinvest is not directed to children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Data Security

We minimize data collection and keep user preferences on the device. Third-party SDKs (e.g., AdMob) follow their own security practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Data Retention

• On-device settings/history remain until you delete the app or clear the app’s data.
  
  

• Ad data is retained by Google per their policies.
  
  

9. Your Choices

• Opt-out or reset Advertising ID in system settings.
  
  

• Disable notifications in system settings.
  
  

• Clear the app’s local data or uninstall the app at any time.
  
  

10. International Use

If you use the app from outside your country, your data may be processed by third-party services in other regions subject to their privacy terms.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Last updated date above and may provide in-app notice for material changes.
