Privacy Policy for SpinGrinder

SpinGrinder is developed by Carl Warren Brown. This policy explains how the game handles your information.
Information we collect
When you first play, SpinGrinder creates an anonymous account for you. We store the following on our server:
- your username (either the random "Player" name the game gives you, or one you choose),
- an anonymous account ID that links your username and cloud save to your account,
- a copy of your game progress (your cloud save), so you can get it back if you lose or change your phone, and
- your email address, only if you choose to back up your account. Your password is handled by Google Firebase and we never see it.
We use this information only to run the game: to show your name, to back up and restore your game, to let you log in on a new phone, to send a password reset email when you ask for one, and in the future to show leaderboards. We do not use your email for marketing and we do not sell or share your information. The game has no analytics.
Our server is Google Firebase. When the game connects to it, Google may process basic technical information such as your IP address to provide the service. Google's handling of that information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy
Data stored on your device
Your game progress, including coins, characters, upgrades and settings, is saved on your device. A copy is uploaded to our server about every 10 minutes, and whenever you tap UPLOAD in the game, as your cloud save. Uninstalling the game deletes the copy on your device but not your cloud save.
Deleting your account
In the game, go to Options > DELETE ACCOUNT. This permanently deletes your username, email, cloud save and account from our server, and all game progress on your device.
You can also ask us to delete your account by emailing spingrindersupport@gmail.com with your username. We will delete it within 30 days.
Purchases
SpinGrinder offers optional in-app purchases. These are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment details. Purchases stay on your Google account. If you delete your account or reinstall the game, you can get them back with RESTORE PURCHASES in the in-game store.
Advertising
SpinGrinder contains no advertising and no advertising SDKs.
Children
SpinGrinder is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If future versions of SpinGrinder handle data differently, this policy will be updated and the date above changed.
