Welcome to Bostar.io, a game inspired by diep.io and arras.io. Navigate a world filled with different shapes - squares are weak, triangles are stronger, and pentagons pack a punch, with Beta and Alpha pentagons offering even more XP. Look out for occasional Boss spawns - defeating them scores you 30,000 XP. Beware of other tanks trying to take you down, so keep your guard, survive, and rack up that XP!

21.11.2024: Bug fix with bullets stopping moving before dying (Caused by an undocumented feature, likely added on 25.09.2024, where bullets start to lose health towards the end of their lifespan) Added this feature to the bot too.
16.11.2024: Bug fixes with shape respawn times being the same for all shapes, and shape lists not clearing upon start.
12.11.2024: Buffed boss drone health, Optimised the background to be 384x more efficient (By only using 1 "illusion" tile.) which almost doubled FPS, bug fixes.
25.09.2024: More changes to anniversary stuff, fixed a bug where bots didn't regen, started working on a HUGE performance fix with background rendering, added health bars to bots (finally!), other bug fixes.

15.04.2024: Reworked boss drones to work using the new bot clone system, fixed boss drone AI, (However, there still remains a huge bug and idk what to do: Either drones work properly but pause for a long time, or the drones direction updates extremely slowly when targeting a bot.) random spawning scripts now adapt to any border size, updated existing connection screens and added one, tweaked a death message, bug fixes.

07.03.2024: Fixed a bug with death blur sometimes blacking the screen on startup, increased minimum bot amount, added [1]% FPS Low counter, added occasional server closing and reset, added close time reminders, experimented with arena closers a bit.

16.01.2024: Fixed bot shooting location finding, fixed bot AI, fixed bullet spawning for bots, bots now take damage from squares, more bug fixes, you can now level up to level 60, upgrade points are now independent from your level, changed the map size to 1500, revised shape spawning scripts to automatically adjust its spawning area based on the map size, spread out shapes to provide more space, the bot now takes damage from your bullets.
15.01.2024: Reworked body damage, changed base HP from 100 to 50, doubled aging HP increase from 1HP to 2HP per level. (In effect, made low level tanks weaker than high level tanks), removed bot 2, started work with bot cloning and reworking of the AI, made bot count to 5, SO MANY bug fixes (seriously!), a lot more additions that I can't recall.
14.01.2024: Reworked damage to the triangle & pentagon & beta pentagon & alpha pentagon (all shapes), combined mid/outer pentagon scripts into one sprite, outer pentagons now have a small chance to spawn in the middle, made it so as a bullet loses health it deals proportionately less damage, bug fixes with bot target rendering, fixed an overflow player health bug, changed the way regen works (regen speed to regen amount), added recoil after hitting shapes, body damage now affects shapes!
13.01.2024: Fixed shape respawning to work with the new damage system I made, implemented smooth camera movement while spectating.

09.01.2024: Bug fixes with green alpha pentagon health resetting, made boss give player XP only if the player killed it, buffed boss drone speed again (It was still too easy last time because movement speed upgrade), added a message every time you kill a boss, made drones orbit the boss.
