Welcome to Hee-Sung Han's Homepage. We perform research on non-volatile materials including magnetic and ferroelectric materials, and explore their applications in next-generation semiconductor devices such as neuromorphic devices, quantum computing elements, and probabilistic computing architectures.
Our lab performs experiments using a wide range of fabrication tools, including a UHV sputtering chamber and maskless lithography system, as well as various advanced measurement instruments. We actively collaborate with domestic and international universities, research institutes, and synchrotron facilities to pursue cutting-edge research.
본 연구실은 자성체 및 강유전체 등 비휘발성 재료(non-volatile materials)를 연구하며, 이를 기반으로 한 차세대 반도체 소자(예: 뉴로모픽 소자, 양자컴퓨팅 소자, 확률컴퓨팅 소자 등)관련 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. UHV 스퍼터링 챔버(UHV sputtering chamber), 마스크리스 리소그래피(maskless lithography) 등 다양한 소자 제작 장비와 정밀 계측 장비를 바탕으로 실험을 수행하고 있으며, 국내외 대학, 연구소, 방사광가속기 등과의 활발한 협력을 통해 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.

2025.06.25 – 2025.07.02. Jinwon and Jieun visited LBNL for beamtime experiments at the Advanced Light Source (ALS), and also toured research laboratories at Stanford University and UC Berkeley. We would like to thank Dr. Myunghwan Kang for guiding us at ALS, Dr. Jieun Lee for the lab tour at UC Berkeley, and Dr. Hwancheol Jeong for hosting the tour at Stanford and giving an insightful introduction to quantum technologies.
