CLARENITE
Born: Homeland (May 4th, 2000) Now: Homeland
Because parents choose the object of their child, a kid would rarely be born a gem, due to their extreme value. But, Clarenite was the exception, in taking pride in his extreme value. After discovering a reality show was being hosted by someone who, too, was a gem, Clarenite became invested. Though he didn't want to participate, he was eager to try out for the spot of containing eliminated contestants to establish his value and dominance for a living. He got the job and grew fond of yelling at people about what to do.
FUN FACT: Clarenite is not a real gem, but it would be pretty sick if he was one. Clarenite has no relationship to a clarinet.
COKE
Born: Homeland City (November 8th, 2005) Now: Homeland City
Being orphaned at a young age, Coke had little to do. So, he actively read comics, giving him a taste for the "Mystery" genre. This developed Coke's want to be a detective, renting a shack in another dimension to avoid child safety laws. After his brother refused to come, Coke fled to the shack, resulting in him being trapped away for 5 years. At that time, Coke befriended Copyright and became the best detective he could. Today, Coke is back in Homeland City with his brother, now with a local agency.
FUN FACT: Despite no one in Ocac Olac Valley having it, Coke somehow developed a country accent in his 5 years trapped there.
FLOWEY
Born: Unknown Now: Deceased
Not much is known about Flowey's origins, other than the fact that he made some poor choices. These choices banished him to the BFN Timeline, where he was put inside of Pot due to her otherworldly theories. Over time, Flowey grew to accept his new life and lessen his cynical personality. But, not too long after, Flowey's ability to SAVE and LOAD caused him to be killed, devastating Pot. Luckily, Flowey was able to load his last save. But as far as this timeline is concerned, Flowey is long gone.
FUN FACT: Flowey refused to talk about his past, so little is known besides he's from an alternate timeline and was once a goat.
MAGGY
Born: Homeland (March 14th, 2002) Now: Homeland City
Maggy was always very observant, leading to her love of science. Living in the city, Maggy yearned to move to an area filled with nature, leading her and her friend Spoon to sign up for BFN, on an isolated island in the great outdoors. Obsessed with her academic record, Maggy made some poor decisions when it came to her social record. After realizing she valued her friends over wits, Maggy ran away from the show, deciding to follow her heart instead of the facts. Today, she continues to live by this.
FUN FACT: (Get it?) Maggy bonded with Glassy and Coffee when they were teenagers over their shared sexuality. She also came to their wedding!
PORTAL
Born: Homeland (April 7th, 2011) Now: Deceased
Portal was created by Jade in 2014, an AI being with a form placed in every Dimension. Being able to teleport, he could be anywhere, anytime. After being offered a spot on Jade's reality show, Portal began to be treated as a person rather than a machine. This led him to befriend Hatty, who felt betrayed after discovering Portal had lied. Even though he was preventing a villain invasion, his consciousness was removed by Jade. Until the finale, where he was given it back, only to die permanently in Limbo.
FUN FACT: The friendiversary present Portal gave to Hatty was a mini plush of himself. Though weird, Hatty now sleeps with it every night.
SODA
Born: Homeland City (November 8th, 2004) Now: Homeland City
Soda was orphaned along with Coke at a young age. The two spent most of their lives in an orphanage until they agreed to sign up for BFN for a chance at living on their own. While waiting for the ferry to the island, Coke admitted he had bought a property in Ocac Olac Valley. Soda, refusing to go with him, watched him walk through Portal, not seeing him for another 5 years. Soda's grief allowed him to be manipulated for many years, up until his befriending of Maggy and the return of Coke brought him back.
FUN FACT: Soda never really liked Corey. Or anyone on his team for that matter. He's just really good at not showing emotion.
SPOON
Born: Homeland (February 2nd, 2002) Now: Homeland City
Spoon was always short-tempered, which is why she made such good friends with Maggy, the two balancing out the other. After Maggy begged her to join BFN, Spoon complied, however stating she would not participate. And that lack of participation got her eliminated. Not even wanting to be there in the first place, Spoon sought a way out, eventually getting her chance when she was tricked by the Director. After all she's been through, Spoon solely yearns to catch a break.
FUN FACT: Now back in the city, Spoon has gotten a job as a local waitress. She hates her job and her life, often thinking about returning to BFN.
WOOLY
Born: BFN Island (January 17th, 2022) Now: BFN Island
Wooly was born to Season 2 winners Baggy and Socky, being a sock with her dad's orange tint. But, with her dad running Jade's company and her mom running Nothing Town, Wooly is often taken care of by her Aunt Basket, who seems to take pride in her care for her. Today, Wooly is only 2 years old, so she is still learning and developing. So for now, Wooly remains her oblivious and babbling self, putting anything she sees in her mouth, with hopes to one day understand anything going on around her.
FUN FACT: Wooly enjoys having so many people to give her attention in the Workshop. Including the new temporary addition of Scribble.
