Takuya Yamashiro was a motocross driver, son of the astrophysicist Dr. Hiroshi Yamashiro, and the man who would become his reality's Spider-Man. Whilst practicing on his motorbike, Takuya began to receive telepathic messages from an alien called Garia, who had been imprisoned in a cave by a vampiric warlord called Professor Monster. His sister, Shinko and girlfriend, Hitomi Sakuma asked for his assistance in investigating the crashed Leopardon but Takuya refused as he had a race to compete in. His father, who had been searching for Garia, accepted this and set out with Shinko and Hitomi. Later, before leaving for the contest, Takuya received more messages from Garia and went to investigate. In the mountains he found Hitomi and Shinko who told Takuya their father had been attacked. Takuya found his dying father, who had received fatal injuries from a creature working for Professor Monster called Boukunryu. After his father died, Takuya was attacked by the Iron Cross Army and gravely injured and he fell into the cave where Garia was imprisoned. Garia saved his life by giving him the Spider Bracelet and Spider Extract, which granted him spider-like abilities, and he then informed Takuya of the invasion of Professor Monster, as well as his personal history. Back at his house, Garia told Takuya of his new costume and abilities and tested them out, before discovering the Iron Cross Army had kidnapped Professor Fujita. Spider-Man set out to confront the group and freed the Professor. He was then attacked by Boukunryu and found himself unable to defeat the monster, until he summoned Leopardon and unleashed its Sword Vigor and destroyed Boukunryu, vowing to defeat the rest of the Iron Cross Army.

During the "Spider-Verse" storyline, Takuya was brought from Earth-51778 into the war against the Inheritors by Earth-616's Spider-Man and Spider-Girl, as well as Earth-65's Spider-Woman. As soon as the group arrived in their former safe zone, Earth-13, Takuya, who was already piloting the Leopardon, faced off against Solus, but the villain made quick work of the giant robot. Luckily, Takuya managed to escape the confrontation alive and join the rest of the spiders. Takuya stayed with the group of Spiders and during the final battle in Loomworld, he was reunited with Leopardon. Spider-Man 2099 and Lady Spider managed to fix the robot with "some future tech and some steam-power". After the Inheritors' defeat, Takuya safely returned to his world.

His powers include superhuman strength, speed, accelerated healing, being able to cling to most surfaces, heightened eyesight, and X-ray vision. He ages slower than regular humans, and is a skilled practitioner of ninjitsu. He also has the ability to communicate with spiders, and like many other versions of Spider-Man, he possesses a spider-sense which warns him of danger, in addition to having precognitive dreams. Similarly, he also uses his Spider Bracelet to shoot webs and nets, with the device also being able to magnetically unlock doors, identify aliens in disguise, and deflect lasers. The Spider Bracelet vanishes when it is not in use, in addition to being able to produce a spare version of his costume if his original is damaged. His powers can be transferred to other people via a blood transfusion.[1]

Takuya Yamashiro (Japanese:  ) is a man who gained spider-like abilities, ending becoming known as the superhero Spider-Man (anglicized in Japanese as "Supaidman").

Takuya was brought into the war against the Inheritors by Earth-616's Spider-Man and Spider-Girl, as well as Earth-65's Spider-Woman. As soon as the group arrived in their former safe zone, Earth-13, Takuya, who was already piloting the Leopardon, faced off against Solus, but the villain made quick work of the giant robot. Luckily, Takuya managed to escape the confrontation alive and join the rest of the spiders.[4]

Chris: In my head, this isn't, like, an alternate universe or something. This is the actual Marvel Universe, and Takyua's just really into the American Spider-Man he's been hearing so much about.

Chris: He's also the only one who can hear a spider talking to him, which we learn when he goes from this hilarious fake laughter to a dramatic super-zoom, as he hears about the Marveller yet again. So, with three other people presumably still in the room, he starts shouting at a voice only he can hear and runs outside in the middle of the night. I guess everyone else was just like "Oh well! Takuya sure is weird!"

Caleb: What I like about this, is that his father isn't directly asking for revenge for himself, but rather for his son to protect Earth on his behalf. Meanwhile an alien spider is asking for personal revenge in his mind.

Chris: After a transformation sequence that involves superimposing stock footage from a nature show over Takuya's face to make it sort of look like he has a giant spider in his mouth -- The Grossest Thing Ever -- Takuya gets up and finds that he's been suddenly healed. Garia tells him that he's been injected with the "Spider-Extract," and that he's the only person in the entire universe that can hear his telepathy and who is capable of using the phenomenal powers he has to offer in order to get revenge against Professor Monster.

Chris: From a talking spider, no less. Because Garia transformed into a spider. So Takyua transforms and we get a nice little sequence of him climbing up walls and swinging around, although it's worth noting that when he shoots his web line, it is totally just a giant white rope, like the kind you'd buy at a bait shop.

Although Takuya Yamshiro may look like the traditional Spider-Man when suited up, that and the traditional spider-powers are all that he shares in common with Peter Parker. In the Japanese Spider-Man TV series that aired from 1978 to 1979, Takuya gained his special abilities through a blood transfusion from Garia, the dying warrior from Planet Spider.

Takuya Yamashiro was a 22-year-old motocross racer who investigates the wreckage of a UFO that fell to Earth along with his father, Dr. Hiroshi Yamashiro, who is a renowned space archeologist. However, they are not alone as the evil Professor Monster and his evil Iron Cross Army are also drawn to the UFO site with the plans to rule the universe. Hiroshi is killed by Monster and Takuya discovers Garia, the last surviving warrior of Planet Spider after it was destroyed by Professor Monster. Garia is too injured to continue and decides to inject Takuya with his own blood to give Takuya spider-powers. Garia also gives Takuya his bracelet that can activate the spider protector costume, shoot webs, and control the UFO ship that can transform into a giant battle robot named the Leopardon.

While Leopardon set a precedent for the kind of giant robots that Power Rangers' Mega-Zords later popularized, it took years for both Supaidaman and Leopardon to make their official debuts in the comic book Marvel Universe in 2015's Amazing Spider-Man #12, by Dan Slott, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Cam Smith, Justin Ponsor and Chris Eliopoulos, where they joined the army of Spider-Men who battled the Inheritors, superhuman beings that fed off the life forces of spiders.

Huh, as I posted above, the episode you note, "The Mysterious Spider Man", involves Kamen Rider fighting a spider man rather than Spider-Man. However, Kamen Rider V3 vs Spider-Man is an actual crossover comic from the two TOEI series. e24fc04721
